High School Vs. All-Star

Do you think it's a good idea to go from All - Star to highschool cheer? Our highschool cheer team is really not that much cheaper than All-Star ($1300 plus $700 or $800) for a comp team. Also, any advise from anyone who has gone from All-star to Highschool would be appreciated.
