RE: All-American Voiceover

Can some one answer this question...what does the voiceover say after the first guy is introduced?  It's a girl and she says something like...Man that got my______ ______???  I have no idea what it says.

Is it really?  I'm feeling a little like someone's going to say "April Fool's!" if I believe it.  I got my cootie shot...now, that's just funny!!

just a small correction it says the "best in the bay" not "best in the valley" but i do like the way you put it, as almost a movie or show kind of thing..thats very unique

In football the O-line never complains when the RB gets all the accolades for great accomplishments. Why should this differ here? The voiceovers are creative, new and different, thus helping the team become successful. Everyone on AA is doing their part to help with the success of this team.

Maybe I am just old, but the term "Cootie" has a derogatory meaning to it. No big deal.

My dtr is on the AA coed team and she does not have a problem with it at all.  She likes it, especially when they say cheese!!! Take a picture.  This voiceover has done it's job.  It keeps people at the venue so they can hear the voice over.  So Job well done cheergyms it just keeps people talking.

I like the voiceover, but I highly doubt it is what keeps people at the venue.  wink  I think if they are there at all it is to see the performances.

I'm on the AA co-ed team, and my name is not in the routine, and it doesn't bother me at all! =) When Danny had first introduced that people's names would be put into the routine, he never specified that your name wouldn't be in the routine. In fact Danny encouraged each memeber of the team to get a creative skill, so that when the skill is achieved, your name would be put in the routine along with the other three memebers of the team.

I love the idea for the names in the routine, and I'm glad people have watched us enough to keep this topic in mind!=)

Prepare for WORLDS AA! =) We're gonna kick some butt.smile

This and the football (I think it was football) analogy are a couple of the reasons I love this site!  The sport analogy helped me to look at it from a slightly different view, although I had to re-think it in baseball terms...but whatever, it worked.  And then to be told about the background of the voiceover and that each cheerleader was given the time to work out a skill that would be used...even better!

Thanks Taryn!

JMO but...if you are going to have music that "****y" and introducing the "stars" you need to have some serious Top Gun like skills to put on the floor and you had better throw a flawless routine! Again, JMO.

I believe it's done automatically.  Certain words are blocked out even if they meant something else.
