i don't think they would need it as a marketing tool. they're both great gyms. and sister gyms usually don't share coaches
yes they do that's why they're called sister gyms to help each other out. bottom line here is they are remaining exactly the same with the same owners same names no one bought anyone so what their "friends" whoopie doodah so basically it is more of an "alliance" than anything else. call it what is stop sugar coating it.
oh one more thing..don't you notice how they don't call it a "merger" since it's not they try to trick you into thinking it could be by saying " joining forces" people wake up this screams threatened desperation at the 11th hour! they just made an alliance that's it! OBVIOUSLY feeling very threatened by CA , what a compliment for CA!
Im confused . I see it a a great experience for all of these athletes. Now, everyone is making it into a bad thing. I think its great, i believe its bring gyms together. Having another gym as your sister gym is a great thing. Meeting new people, having more people support you at comps, And the coaches and choreographers cand help out both gyms. I know somtimes i just need something new in a coach. They can learn from eachother and grow. I wish both gyms the best. I think its an great idea.
althouth i too see it as a questionable move, i do think it will up CFs antie. i can't wait for next year's competitions. we're all gonna be sitting on the edge of our seats.

OK CA I have had enough. They have both hired amazing coaches and joined forces to make both programs the best in California. Get over yourselves. Let's see who really brings it in 08-09.
I think the point is why was it necessary to make such a big deal about joining forces? What's with the big announcement? why not just invite So Cal over to CF to help out where needed, like any other gym looking for fresh ideas from outside sources? It's a little confusing and maybe a lot "not necessary." I do sense that one of these gyms feels a little backed into a corner by recent mergers. I'm not bashing. I'm just sayin...

I think the point is wanting to get the word out to potential customers about exciting additions to your staff and program. The same reason Ca put it out on this message board that they took over Bladez.
Call it what you will ! If you or your teams have ever gone to NCA you will see that teams in Texas do this too. So CF and SO Cal way to bring it to California (no pun intended)
CA dont feel threatened just work harder, you couldn't have possibly thought that you would be the only on with a grand idea. Congratulations again CF and So Cal Outlaws. Great Idea

exactally it just seems like they are trying to make this sound like a bigger deal than it it. like it will benifit the teams and kids greatly. dont get me wrong it most likely will help but really its no more than two gyms making an allience. teams do it all the time but they dont go around making it some huge deal so that more kids will be tricked into trying out for them

This is what i dont get. You act like thay posted this on here. There not making a big deal about it. They didnt I did because I thought it is cool. You get everything you whoul get with a merge but you get to keep your idenity. You dont have to sell out. You get to keep the name youve had and loved but become part of another family at the same time. And I think thats pretty darn cool.
Goodluck To Both Gyms And I Wish You Both An Amazing Season.

The difference is that CA did buy Bladez, this announcement really amount to nothing at all.

So when Bladez and California got together what did that mean? Who were they obviously feeling threatened by? I know some people think the world of California cheerleading revolves around California allstars, but sometimes it's not about them.
California's coed and SoCal's coed have not competed at the same competition at all this season as far as I know. But, both times that SoCal competed with the other California level 5 team in the house, SoCal walked away with the grand championship. Get over yourselves California. You're good, but you're not the only show in town. SoCal, Cheerforce and California are all great programs with clearly different styles of how they run their programs. So kudos to SoCal and Cheerforce for a friendly alliance or whatever you want to call it. It's alot more legit than the way some programs go about getting quality coaching.

so then its not a big deal meaning nothing is changing besides the fact that now these two teams will be cheering for eachother

Who cares if Ca bought blades. It's basically the same thing. Blades is keeping all of their coaches and adding Shawn but they have to change their name. Socal and Cheerforce are keeping all of the same coaches and adding Ray and Carlos but they get to keep their names. Sounds pretty similar to me.

Don't get upset. I'm just callin it like I see it. So you don't see a difference between shaking hands and agreeing to help each, visit gyms, and cheer for each other VS writing up business proprosals, putting up cash and getting business loans? These two transactions are not quite the same No matter how you slice it.

shawn and the pervious coaches are still going to be the main coaches yes but the all of the other coaches at CA will play a huge role in the Carmillio gym. infact many of them have allready visited. it is way different

Thats the whole piont i was making. You can get the samething out of this situation as merge and stay true to your self at the same time. Thats what i thought was cool about it.
