JamFest

Ok, so I see the old thread is missing. I am sad cause I came home just to see who placed where. Obviously someone ruined it for me. Nicely, how did everyone place? And does anyone know who showed up? I would like to know the final results without the negativity or opinions please. Thanks SO M...

Music

Okay folks, place your bets! What do you think will be the most overplayed song this year in cheer music? I'm keeping my options open, but have it narrowed down to some sort of Justin Timberlake.

curious

I was curious, does your state have anything that might be equivalent to a "best in state" competition? There are probably reasons why it wouldn't work (maybe it would be hard to handle that many teams) but I always thought it would be awesome to have one competition here in California, for instance, t...

Chicago

If you could only watch ONE movie for the rest of your life (no tv, no dvd players) what would you want it to be? Mine - Chicago, just because I like to sing along with the movie.

can't wait!

Hey everyone! Competition starts at the end of the month. Where and when is your first competition for the 2006/07 cheer season?

Come on everyone!!! Let's start this competition year off right. I'm happy that everyone likes to use this message board but I simply can't read the harsh rude comments any longer. And....I can't keep up with them fast enough to delete them all. There is SO much to be positive about in our sport. Le...

All Girl Fan

Okay since it was brought up on the other thread for the Nor Cal Roster, I thought it was worth a new topic. I am curious what teams are in Southern California. So, whoever wants to start, let us know what teams are in the south.

Zen Like Question

How do you handle nerves? If you get nervous, what do you do to relax?

Serious Question gym owners

I have a serious question. My daughter is unhappy on her team. The only reason we haven't quit is because I paid for the year in full a few months ago because she was happy. Well our gym made some drastic changes and now she wishe she could leave. She LOVES cheer and his been doing it for so long. There is...

???

What kind of teams (age division and level) is everyone competing this season? I would like to hear back from all California teams but I'm most interested in Northern/Central CA. Also, I'm interested to see who is in the Senior Coed Level 3 and the Small Junior Levels 4 and 5. Thanks every...

Junior White

I know there was a thread last year about this, and now this year I have personal investment in this topic... I was wondering what gyms have Junior 2 or Junior 3 teams? Large/small? Junior 2 last year was always a huge division, does anyone have any thoughts about it this year?

dear cheergyms,

its so frustrating when you have kids who are silly at practice. I don't mean the little kids either. Its so frustrating for those who are there to get things done, they want to improve their skills, and they want to see their team succeed...and then you have the silly ones who can't stop the giggles. I me...

yup

I think we work hard everyday at practice. thanks.

Janghal

Does anyone have food courts in there gym? If so what kind of food do you have? Hot Dogs, Yodles? What?

???

Here's the scenario... You have a couple new coaches who are young, as in just graduated HS and use to be on a team at the gym they now work for. These new coaches are knowledgable but the kids are not being respectful/not listening to them and will only listen to the more senior coaches. What should t...

Goin To Georgia

Ok, remember the tshirt idea for Worlds? Do you think we could do the same for Atlanta? Maybe everyone could wear it one night while there so that we all could be united from California? Maybe a headband? Maybe something else??? Does anyone think this would be a cool or dumb idea..... I thought it would b...

c. honestly.

So what are some of the best TEAM names everyone has heard? (ie: F5, shooting stars, panthers, dimonds, etc.) And usually a gym will follow a "theme" for all their teams, && so lets hear what you think are the best ones?

uhhhh

what do people think about all star cheer vs. high school cheer.as of stunts jumps..ect..

you never know

could this happen in the cheer world? (Football world) Parent/who is the asst. coach is upset that their kid keeps getting hit hard and snaps! We all know that its hard to see your kid getting ruffed up, but 99% of us has the sense not to attack children who hurt our loved one. (Cheer world) Could we se...

Curious

I was looking at the California bids list and I noticed that there were many International Team bids. I know CF has international teams, but what other gyms in California have international teams (or thinking about having one). I'd love to know!
