just curious

just curious what is the next competition you guys are going to, the cheergyms organization as a whole group? Is there somewhere on your site where you have that information for the public?

Looks like Jamz is defining Small and Large Coed by the number of people on the team, not how many males are on the team. Does that mean Cheergyms.com AA team will compete in the Large Coed division since they have 35 members but only 4 males?

Janice

Does anyone else think that the cost of All Star cheerleading is outta control? My daughter cheers for a very successful gym. Is that why it costs a lot? Does anyone know if it's cheaper to be at a less sucessful gym? I don't want to have to leave the gym we're at but we might have to. Please let me kn...

Did you know that there are only 12 teams attending ACA Nationals competiton this weekend and ACA will be giving out 2 paid bids and 4 unpaid bids. Not bad odds compared to the 36 teams that competed at American Grand in Vegas for 1 paid bid and 2 unpaid bids. Does anyone know how USASF determines how m...

I just wanted to say how awesome it was to see senior gold shine. I even got teary eyed. I know how hard you all have been working. I also know how much Jeff loves you guys. He may be tough on you all, but he does it because he knows what you are capable of. You showed everyone Saturday you are shing gold! This wa...

As a new parent to the area, I have been looking around and researching gyms around my area. I have been really interested in knowing why the prices of all these gyms differ so much. Due to financial constraints I lean more towards the cheaper gyms, but something tells me that I might get what I pay for. Do...

What division is Pyramids and Motions going to compete at Cheersport Nationals in Atlanta? Are they required to be put in the Senior 5-12 Coed Advanced which is not a Worlds division? Or can they compete in the Senior 5 Coed Advanced which is Worlds division.

what do you think?

Okay, what do you guys think about cross overs? Should teams have them? How many should cross over....do you think it's fair? Any comments? What do you think about teams having 20 cross overs and girls/guys being on 3 teams at competitions? Is it right to have your kids with the higher skills be on all yo...

At this last competition there was a team that took second (not sure what team or what division) and the parents were cheering really loud. They were screaming thier teams name and showed so much support for the team. THEN we realized they were cheering for the team that "was" going to be announced...

Does anyone know of any US teams that want to compete in the International Division at Worlds? And does anyone have an opionion on this division?

Coaches, What do you think about some of the competitions (especially ones giving out bids to Worlds) using video judging? Cheersport has a bit of information on how it works. I'd like to hear from coaches on this subject and of course anyone else. http://151.213.101.231/cheersport/vid...

Curious

The thread about Worlds bids got me wondering. It seems like there are some programs that have a LOT more injuries than even the rest of the entire state combined. I know that some of these programs contribute it to the high level of skills they do, but we know that there are programs who compete the same s...

Just a topic for discussion. I was curious what folks thought about when a team should decide not to compete at a certain level, and go down a notch? If your team has the skills, but you're just not winning, time to go down a level? Stay at the level you're at and work harder? At what point do you give in and de...
