New

I thought this might be a fun new topic. Do you have any favorite words of wisdom to share? Applying to cheer or just life in general? I saw this the other day and it stuck.. Change is Inevitable Growth is Optional

Love To Cheer

What days of the week do most of your gym's teams practice? Anyone have days of the week that they absolutely hate to practice on?

Alex

i know people brought up about if they could go to any all star team where would they go... but what college would you like to go to and cheer for, if you could?

cheer girl

What competitions are the high school teams in the bay area going to?

Level 5 overrated

With all the smack talk about who has the best this and best that. I think we should talk about who has the best mini teams. To see a 5 year old do a round back had spring is the best! So who has the best mini program?

CuriousFan

Just curious what y'all think.. my son's team has had several injuries recently, and their first competition is in a couple weeks. They are struggling and don't look good at all, but in time they'll look great. Do you think it's better to perform anyway to get that first comp out of the way, or is it bette...

Coach with some Though

I was driving in my car the other day and started to think about all the teams who attend the comeptitions around the US. I started to realize how a lot of gyms don't charish the whole "having fun" factor. I will be guilty of this too and need to remember that winning is only the smallest part of the whole spo...

Wonderin

Just wondering what others think, I just noticed that Jamz doesn't separate small teams and large teams, they compete together. They do at Nationals, but not at regionals I guess. I think I saw this topic mentioned before, sorry if I'm repeating old news. Do you think it's fair for small teams that hav...

Sad

Nicole Ashley Price was a great kid. always had a smile and was always ready to have fun. Nikki's life was cut short in an accident the day before her 16th birthday. Nikki had cheered for both GymStars and then at 720. She was loved by all who knew her, especially her sisters Melissa, Alicia and Sandra Web...

It's almost that time

What college teams are you interested in cheering for? I know UofL and UK will probably come up alot. What about some of the other schools? And, why?

concerned

As a coach, I take my position as a role model for my athletes very seriously. I am not here to teach them to be party animals or make them believe the only way to have fun is by partying. We need to step up to the plate and set an example for all of the kids we come into contact with. We are the adults, let's make a...

Did you ever think

Just an idea. Did you ever think the reason small gyms don't go to over populated competitions like GSSA, Americas Best and so forth is because the large gyms are obnoxious sometimes? Possibility? Overbearing, not controlled, and just straight up rude. The coaches can't keep the kids under control...

Is this true?

There's a rumor going around that 720 is closing. Is this true? If so I will be really sad because they are a great team and i always enjoy their routines. Please tell me it's just a rumor

NCA Fan

I know cheerforce is going to NCA. Who else from Cali is going this year? I am excited to go and finally see it in person this year. To those of you who have gone, what is it like? Sorry if this was covered in another thread. I wanted to start a thread specifically about NCA.
