Especially in Tracy...Have you seen some of the people from there. Its like the mini OC/Laguna Beach. 16 years olds driving Mercedes, BMW's Hummers its ridiculous. You have the moms and kids in Juicy and the 8 year old kids with RAZR cell phones dressing like they are 16 I think its funny. I just laugh. I hear some real interesting conversations About the lifestyle and comparison of Tracy and So Cal. Man I tell you
While I have to agree that Tracy is in no way shape or form anything like Laguna Beach, or even areas closer to San Francisco, I think the point was the people who live there have money, and flaunt it. Tracy is a relatively inexpensive place to live compared to other parts of the bay area. Modesto (where one of the POWER gyms is) is even cheaper. So people there have more money to spend on things like cheer, expensive cars, etc...
Exspensive or not the bay area is OVERPRICED. Walnut Creek, Pleasant HIll, Alamo, Danville, San Ramon and Pleasanton are filled with BMW's and Mercedes. The price of a BAD HOUSE is horrible in those areas. People spend all this money on a house and can't afford anything else. LOL, just to live there haha
I live in Tracy and don't wear juicy. My daughter doesn't have a razor. She is very intelligent and well rounded. She dresses her age. I guess not all people from Tracy are that ridiculous.
This topic has me chuckling..... I have to admit, I've never heard of ANY of these places listed except for San Fransisco. Probably cause I don't get out of OC except for vacation a few times a year to Cabo or otherwise.... but that's probably just me. I just haven't heard of any of these places and have never seen them mentioned anywhere as a vacation spot. I guess I just think of a place being a bit on the more "upscale" side if people actually go there for vacation.
Boy do I feel sheltered now.... lmao. How does one tempt the hubby to go to Tracy for their vacation???? Now I have to get out MapQuest and look it up.....
lol, I don't know of anyone who goes to OC on their vacation either. Our city is considered upscale, but not a vacation spot either. So I have to disagree with your thinking there.
I'm chuckling at your post OC. Upscale cities don't equal popular vacation spots. As a matter of fact, many upscale areas would rather crowds of people didn't visit, and there are plenty in the bay area. I really don't know anything about OC except from their posts. I guess I should look at a map too.
Oh I was making fun of us too.... people don't usually come here to vacation much either. That's why I thought it was amusing. They will most likely go to San Diego or Disneyland area (which is kinda yukky itself once you go out of the Disney area) So that's why I thought it so funny.
This is how conversations go. If you want to discuss the original topic, feel free to do so, but don't tell us what to talk about.
I would say that upscale cities would tend to have better things to offer. Even in the cheer gym area. And since people can afford to do these extra things, they would be better off there too.
How many gyms are in Tracy? How many teams do they have?
Last year I think they had 3 or more teams. I was very iimpressed with them. I remember seeing them at the first competition last year at GSSA in San Jose. There senior team won. They were also at Jamfest in Long Beach and won there also. They showed alot of talent. I know of a couple of kids from Tracy and also Livermore that commute to Stockton to be part of Power. Driving to Stockton from Livermore is quite a haul.

Yeah and I heard POWER was buying another location since they have like 3 Level 5 teams and 3 Level 4 teams and don't have enough space for all of the teams in the 2 locations or is that a rumor too.. I tell you I don't know what to believe anymore. I did hear though that they have some sick tumbling and most of their teams are advanced this year. They really don't have novice teams
I'm not sure who you are talking to, but you are incorrect on every item. There are no plans to open any other gym. Our two are doing great, but not looking to open any other gym soon. We sure do have novice teams. We love them and look forward to a wonderful season with them. Good luck to everyone this season.

ps- Danny and Morton- Congrats of 10 years a Pyramids. You guys are awesome.
Im sorry but I have to laugh because if you are considering Tracy upscale than you have to put places Like Stockton, Lodi, Manteca, Lathrop and Galt on your list because Tracy compared to this surrounding areas are almost the same if you really think about and have been to each of them
