I have begun to think that I want to take it back to the begining and focus primarily on the Level 2 and 3 teams in the youth and junior division. These kids are so much more excited about learning new...

Do you feel that your gym truly goes by the levels listed for teams. Meaning, do you feel that girls or guys are on higher teams then they deserve to be on . I know that some great bases and backspots get to be on our higher level teams with not as much tumbling. Do you think that is fair?

Hello there! We are so very excited down here in Surf City! We will finally be moving into our own location this coming season! We have grown over the past few years but expect that 08-09 has great thinks to come! We really want to thank all of those in the industry who has given us advise (and warnings), a...

Allstar dance seems to have no place in the world. It's not regarded highly in "dance studio" world, and it's largely ignored in the cheer world. What I mean is, take a look in either American Cheerleader magazine or in Dance Spirit magazine and when they list competitions, neither one l...

Just out of curiosity, what are you **personally** looking at when you are judging a team? What can make or break your giving a high or low score to a team? We all hear about how judges have favorites or have an "in" with a certain gym, I myself don't really believe in that (i would hope peopl...

I was wondering what all the cheer parents do to keep busy on long competition days. When I was new to the sport, I would watch all the routines. Usually I will bring a book or knit. I have even attempted to bring a portable DVD player and watch a movie. Honestly I don't watch all the routines anymore. I w...

I know cross overs have been discussed at length on this board. I would also like to add that I hate when someone gets really personal by bringing up specific gyms, so please don't. Do you think it's fair that a gym would take girls from a higher level team and have them perform on one of thier lower level t...
