First I would like to say CONGRATS to all the teams that won--from what I did see the judging was very fair. BUT.......Jamz was one of the worst venues I ever attended!!! The fact that I almost got kicked out because I went down to give my daughter money for food was OUTRAGEOUS!!!!! I was down there for a to...

Confused

I'm confused at SBE web site. It says: "Congratulations to Co-ed, Sr and Sr Co-Ed "Grand Champions" on your wins at UCA Nationals!". Did they go to Nationals in Florida? I know they went to the "Northern California Championship" in Sacramento in Feb. But that isn't the "Nationals".

Worlds Watcher

Cheer Ltd Nationals will be held this weekend in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Here are the teams competing for Worlds Bids (1 paid, 2@large): Small Senior -Premier Asheville Cats / Asheville, NC -Georgia All-Stars / Marietta, GA (@large bid America's Best) -Polk County Galaxy / Winter...

nor cal all star

hey i see that the results from UCA are up, but does anyone know who the paid and unpaid bids went to?

Questions

We were recently at a competition that, I think because of low attendance, mixed the large with the small. We were one of the large teams, but even to us it didn't seem fair to the small team (we have over 25, they have under 10). How do the judges even judge that fairly? I see another example of a team of 8 goi...

There have been several people calling for these boards to be shut down. What is your opinion?

Next Season Questions

What would you like to see next year at your gym? What does your gym offer that you think is original and has worked for you?

Worlds question ?

Does anyone know how many teams will make it to finals ?

All Star

I have a question. My little sister want to join cheer and wants to get some intensive training so that she can be placed on a good team next year. We wanted to know if there are any sleepaway camps that she could just concentrate on tumbling. I have done serches but can't find any. The cheer camps that are o...

Question For Morton

Morton, this one is for you..... Do you think in the future that the "Powers That Be" could make some sort of system where cheerleaders are required to PROVE the age that they are and have some sort of registration? Is there something in the works SOMEWHERE? This came up at JAMZ and I person...

Recommendation

I recommend that cheergyms shut down the "anonymous" board. Still have a general forum board, but make it like all the other boards, you have to post your name or it gets deleted. Let's see how brave the negative, hurtful posters are when they have to put down their name and own up to what they are saying a...

Just Wondering

Nope! Some changes for Bids.. Tell me what you think. Full paid bids should only go to teams that take first. If you take second at a competition to a team that has already received a bid then you should only get a partial and if you take third then you are now an at large. In no way did that 3rd or 4th p...

When anyone anonymously posts messages on these boards talking negativly about specific programs I have to assume they are randomly trying to start trouble. If you have a true concern please contact the program directors of those gyms directly. Thank You.
