We live in the Sacto area and my daughter had the opportunity to make it to one of Crush's Open Gyms and she had a fantastic time.  She LOVES her current tumbling coach but sometimes it is nice to mix it up and get coaching from other experienced coaches.  The owners/coaches at her current gym welcome their athletes to go to any gym/tumbling coaches that can help them increase their skills.  Increased skills benefits the team she is on and I am very appreciative that the owners of her home gym are so open to this.  At my daughter's previous gym if you tumbled elsewhere there was a good chance your skills would be under-utilized in the routine.

This proud mother is only trying to help the cheer community as a whole, give out information about other options that are out there...the cheer community should be thanking her, not bashing her!

Different coaches have different styles.   I would think it's best to work with the tumbling coaches from your own gym, since they'll be with you all season long.   A while back my daughter tried privates at another gymnastics facility and it just didn't work out, it was too confusing for her.  But I know that isn't the case for everyone.

There are many gyms who offer open gym to anyone, who have amazing coaches. They just don't all advertise here.  I hardly think she is doing us a favor, but I'll give her credit for trying to drum up business for the gym owned by her sons.

The question still goes back in how to gyms run their open gym. Meaning is it structured or what. Do you go into stations, is it all tumbling, or do you add stunting as well.

What a double standard JOKE! This post should be closed. Bashing each other again and again is not something I will allow my daughter to be subected to. Our children will continue to go to the gym where they are happy no matter cost or distance. So fine she promoted for her sons, DO YOU REALLY CARE
