Interesting that CheerForce Alcatraz is competing in Sr All Girl Lv 5 since they are a junior team and have Int'l Jr @large bid. Can't wait to see how Fierce does against them. Those that are attending keep us informed.
Also want to hear how Maui All Stars do. I assume they are from Maui, Hawaii. How hard must it be to find competitions in Hawaii and keep teams/gyms going? Hope they do well.

Very cool, You know something that I noticed this year is there seems to be alot of competition in the Youth 1 and 2 divisions and not to much in the Junior 1 and 2, why do you think that is? Do you think those girls at that age are being absorbed into Senior teams?
I think it is because they changed the division age requirements. Now you can be 11 years old and on a youth team, whereas before It was just a peewee or mini age which was 8. I think gyms see the advantage by creating stronger youth programs and keeping all 11 and unders down instead of competing them in a junior divison where girls can reach 14 years old. Gyms around our area use the stronger skilled 11-14 year olds on a higher level senior team. I think instead they could create a great junior team, but They always want those "SMALLER" Flyers .. Theres always advantages to that . I actually prefer seeing stronger youth teams! I appreciate the routines so much more because they actually compete in there correct age level! Level 3 youth teams like AP, CX and NCE empress me =)
Does anyone know if this competition will be the first that Cheerforce doesn't use crossovers on their teams to get ready for Worlds? They have 3 bids but had major crossovers. Cheerforce coach indicated they would be taking all 3 teams, so that means he has to put in substitues on all three teams. I believe Kiara was on all 3 teams, so if anyone is in attendance or if Cheerforce coach could respond and let us know if this is the first outing for Cheerforce without crossovers that would be great.
Also, do you think that maybe he is have Alcatraz compete in Sr lv 5 and maybe go for a paid bid instead of going to Worlds as Jr Int'l @large bid?

Kiara isn't old enough to be on Rockiez...you have to be 14. I didn't see the schedule..was there competition in junior? Perhaps they just wanted competition! There are only 2 teams in that sr. div.

All the cheerforce teams got first place except for the large senior level 2 team, Fierce got first in this division.

Yes that was there undefeated team. They did a really good job too.
Did anyone else notice that Cheer Force Diamondz only had three guys??? I noticed that the last corner pass normally done by Anthony was replaced by some little girl. Anyone know what happened to Anthony? I saw him at the comp with Cheer Force people, but why didn't he compete?
The competition went well. Cheer force obviously was outstanding!!! I feel our girls did the best they could considering nerves going against CF! They were def our biggest comp. this year...We were shocked to see them in the sen 5 division, we thought they were Jr. 5...
One word fabulous!!! It was amazing to watch and so much energy and talent!!! Legends took second place and cheerforce 1st!! Fierce Liberty senior level 2 won first and cheerforce 2nd!!! Kiara from cheerforce I believe cross competed on 2 or 3 teams!! What a fun competition!!
I heard Kiara was on 2 teams..but some little girl was on 3 teams and kept touching down on tumbling. From what I have seen, CF usually has clean passes. I haven't seen them since Vegas, but this sounds odd. Isn't Anthony that really good tumbler that shares a pass with Kiara? How odd. Someone told me that from a distance the new little girl could be mistaken for Kiara, but her tumbling was way different.

ya Anthony is the one who tumbles with Kiara. Kiara is only on two teams Diamondz and Alcatraz. I didn't see her on any other team then those two. I emailed Anthony on myspace about why he didn't compete, but he just read it and never responded. I guess he doesn't want people to know.
Yes Fierces level three team was undeafeated , untill sunday!
They did sooo Amazing though, and as their coach if they were competing against all small teams, they would have won.. But cheerforces large was amazing, a few stunting bobbles but they pulled it off , so congrats to them!
Level 3 did get the choreography award which was really exciting!!!
Fierce did amazing this weekend... every team on fierce has gotten first this season except liberty, so it was switched around this weekend & all there hardworked payed off! So good job LIberty, you deserved it!
Godd job everyone! it was a fun comp, the only thing i didnt like was the warmup area... it was horrible... but the girls pulled it off anyways! Good job everyone!!!!
