Wow! Take a look at the schedule for JamFest Indianapolis competition where they are giving 3 paid bids, 6 @large bids, and 3 Int'l bids. (Jan 19-21) This is one of the biggest competitions so far this year for bids.
Funny you should say that cause it's 53 outside here in the OC and we are FREEZING TO DEATH! Go to Indy at this time of year? Ooooo I would KILL Brad and John.......

Looks to be a fun competition!
And ACE will be there with our 5 senior teams!
I don't see any California teams on the schedule. But there are 2 Arizona teams going. Arizona Heat Elite from Gilbert Arizona will be there with their Int'l Junior and Large Senior Limited Co-Ed teams going for bids. West Valley Thunder from Glendale Arizona will also be there with Int'l Open Coed team.
Does it get cold in Gilbert and Glendale Arizona or will they also be in for a shock when they walk off the plane into that COLD! Yikes.
Good luck to all your teams ACEDAD. And we do expect some good videos on YouTube. You have to keep us left coasters in the know...

If you see youtube videos of ACE teams before the end of our season (with the exception of the Open team), it will have to come from someone else. ACE doesn't allow posting of video during the season. Sorry.
Here is an update on 1st day of Jamfest Indy (3 paid bids). Also, for those that know Calvin on GymTyme Open Coed (originally from SBE locally). Apparently he hyper-extended his knee in warm ups and had to pull all his tumbling passes and had to mark his jumps etc. If you know him you know his tumbling passes are big part of GT routines. Lets send best wishes to him for speedy recovery.
Small Coed 1. Gym Tyme 2. Twist & Shout 3. World Cup (@large bid from WSF)
To answer the question about coldness in gilbert and glendale, well lets just say im sure the girls went on that plane in tees and probably came off freezing. Today was our coldest day in gilbert for a long time. It actually snowed in the mesa area for some which is right next to gilbert. we drove for about 25 minutes and let my kids enjoy the snow. Of course it did not stay there once it hit the ground but it was a change. I think it's been over a decade since it's snowed. Glendale is a little colder than gilbert. I think they get snow occasionaly.

The Int'l bids are separated out from the other 4 divisions. So they would not take into consideration any of those scores. I haven't seen any info on other message boards about the int'l bids. Guess I have to surf the gyms web sites to see if they have any info about receiving bids.

Yay! I'm so happy. Now I can continue to my regularly scheduled surfing, no more extra surfing trying to find the needle in the haystack. Worlds, did you notice the constant talk of Jamfest bids, but NOTHING on the international ones? UGH! frustrating!
Yes, I noticed the complete lack of talk/discussion on the internation bids. I guess those jr teams or gyms just aren't worthy by someones standards. I would love to hear what people in attendance thought of the international divisions performances. But I don't think these divisions are getting any respect (yet).

Many people feel that the International divisions are mainly for teams that do not wish to compete against the "Big Dogs" in the harder divisions. Many feel that American teams have no business whipping up on Chinese middle schools and should pick on someone their own size. Many also feel that Worlds is becoming too watered down with divisions.

part of me agree's with you. i do think that mant american teams dont have bussniess in the International divisions. However, then there are the jr teams who can only get a bid in the International division. so why doesnt anyone care too much bout that?
...just what i think. and i do agree with you when you say that there are starting to become too many divisons at worlds. or maybe not even that there's so many divisons but maybe the fact that (while still hard) its becoming easier to get a bid.
