So what do you think of the uniforms/costumes that are above.  I understand wanting to be creative and leave an impression, still I am not sure what I think.  One of our individuals wears a costume and she can pull it off but I dont know about these.  Also I would love to hear from parents about the cost of purchasing a new uniform/costume each season.  AS Cheer is expensive already and adding on a costume each season cant help.

Well I do give credit to Cheer Savannah, you will always remember them. I think alot of cheerleaders and parents forget all stars is like competitive dance that you are performing a routine and not going out to school dressed in these uniforms. I like both of them personally and think they are cute. The blue and pink is cute, but the skirts could be a little longer. Also these costumes don't look as ellaborate as a traditional uniform so they might cost a little less.

Hmm. Oddly, I don't hate either one. I like the Senoritas better, but I think they both look sort of goofy with cheer shoes! The shoes sort of ruin the "sleekness" of the outfit. The Maids uniform is a little...er...racy for my liking, but I think these could both be really cute dance outfits with nude colored jazz shoes. The shoes just really ruin it for me.

But I also really hope this is not the trend. I like the uniforms that are a little different but are still athletic looking, like Shooting Stars and Cheer Athletics new ones.

They are both cute outfits indivuadually when you just think to yourself... "Hmmm I could have my dance team dancing to some salsa song in that one." But then you hear cheer and it's like WOW!!! Out of the ordinary for sure and very different. I like both, but I don't know if I'd wear that.

I look at this picture and what I notice most is how expressive all the girls are, how they are really selling their routine!! I wish our teams had that kind of enthusiasm!

Enthusiasm comes from the whole package, uniform, hair, make up, coaches, teams and other things. thats why when you look at a routine, there is a reason they do wear certain uniforms and have a specific style. It gets you motivated. Keeping the same traditional style, will get you the same results, traditional

I agree. Am I ready for uniforms that look like costumes instead of cheer uniforms though? Ummmm, the truth is , no. I am still on the fence of whether I even like them. I guess I am getting old. Yuk.
