You bbc people are terribly rude and disrespectful. I can't believe you guys think its cute to post that stuff in this thread. And as far as the other threads that you've "hijacked" your posts are as annoying or even more so than the threads you're trying to turn around. At least the kids have an excuse. Their kids! You guys are a bunch of immature ladies with no life.

So its really sad that I'm surprised to come on here to find people supporting us. Don't get me wrong...I love the concern...but seeing as girls at the competition were laughing when lauren got hurt, it gives me an excuse to be upset. I personally witnessed girls from two different teams laughing, a Diva's coach smiling when she got hurt (lauren was a Diva then left), and people in the bathrooms complaining that "the break was too long." Our team was devastated when she was hurt, absolutely devastated. And for people to laugh at this...shows me how much people can be wrapped up in competition. It is not, under any circumstance, ok for someone to be happy that a girl got hurt, no matter how big a rivalry you have.

Do these people really not have a heart?

...honestly.

Are you really on Senior Sm 5?  When the accident happened the only thing the senior 5 girls were doing was crying.  I don't believe they were looking around to see who was laughing or not.

I think it would be nice for Lauren that the entire comments about the laughing and the Diva coach be taken off the website.  Lauren will be coming home from Vegas tomorrow for a very long recovery.  She doesn't need to read this kind of stuff.

On another note, the Senior Co-Ed did an amazing performance in her honor.  I can't wait to show her the video.  Go NCE!!

Wow. A dig on my daughter. That was real nice.

I want to formall apologize to MAM. I am sorry that there is negativity on the board and my heart is so happy that the powers that be decided to make us sign up. To take my upbeat and happy, funny post and say nasty things about my daughter was such a low blow, that my heart is truly hurt. I hope you join us once again because we will miss you terribly. I know you were sticking up for me and I love you so much for that. And I know your feelings were hurt and I want to apologize for the people who bring hate in to others lives. You are loved DEARLY.

During this time of the year, I would only hope that those who insist on being nasty would find it in their hearts to ask for forgivness and turn their negativity around. I would never talk that way to you or your child and would only wish you nothing but the best in life.

But if you knew me, you would already know that.

And by the way, my daughter is so incredibly beautiful it's scary. I will post a picture of her soon.

With love and affection and best wishes for everyone this holiday season,

OC Mom

Word on the streets is she was not ready to throw this pass both mentally and physically in the routine. Is it true?

I agree that the girl that pulled Lauren off the floor should not be Faulted!!  She thought she was doing the right thing and my heart goes out for her as well as Lauren.   I too believe that she was trying to get Lauren out of the way and into a safe area.  I have to admit when I saw your team come out with the "Lauren" sign, I was touched!  I heard so many people expressing genuine concern for Lauren.  I certainly hope it's not true that people were laughing!!  You guys and gals at NCE are a great group of people.  Keep up the good work, and a speedy recovery to Lauren!!!

So, Im a member of an allstar team in CA. Not NCE and not the Divas. But I think its so weird that I heard that the coach of NCE is blaming the Divas for laurens fall? i heard he is saying that the divas taught her wrong. now we know where the NCE kids get it from! if they did teach her wrong why did he put her in that spot then?

thank u to everyone that has sent out support for lauren!!im sure she would love to come on here and see all the POSITIVE comments from you all. the up date on lauren is that she is home and doing great..shes jus sore and feels a litlle sick. so we are all hoping for a peedy recovery. and to all those wanting to kno..lauren has thrown that pass manyy time and landed...it was jus an ACCIDENT..and no we are not saying hat divas taugh her wrong...she wasnt even allowed to throw her full at divas..she jus happened to land wrong on sunday. and as for the diva coach laughing...i dont kno wats the deal with that if they did or didnt we at nor cal do not care...all we are concerned about is lauren. i mean they have been showing up to our comps all yr and laughing as our stunts drop but i HIGHLY DOUBT or at least prey they wouldnt laugh as sumthing as devestating as this...its jus realli low if they did.

and YES i did miss my layout and pik up lauren off the floor and at the time i wasnt thinking omg dont move her...i was worried about the rest of the tumblers..who hadnt notcied yet..tumbling on top of her.so please dont start a negative topic on how "a teamate made it worst by moving her" because i kno how these boards can get. so YES i picked her up off the floor when i immediatly looked down and saw her ankle...not thinking i wasnt supposed to..i was thinkning i need to move her from the floor so sumone wouldnt tumble on top of her and im glad i did because many of our teamates did not kno she was hurt until the routine was over

once again thank all of you for your support..lauren is a realli sweet gurl and would love to see all the positive comments from you all

I'm so glad to read that Lauren is doing okay.  She's been in my prayers/thoughts since I first read what happened.

You responded pretty well to statements that could lead to ugliness.  I also doubt that anyone would be laughing at that moment, or that your coach is blaming anyone.

Well I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I was the only Diva coach in attendance at all at this competition, and I was not even in the state by the time the small level 5 teams went on the floor on Sunday. I had a 9:20am flight and was home in San Jose well before noon. I really wish that rumor would die, because it's really spiteful and ugly, not to mention completely made up.

And as far as going to "your" competitions and laughing when stunts drop, that's just ridiculous. We attend every competition in San Jose that we are able to attend if we are not competing, and have done so for years. We don't live in a cave; we like to see other teams in our divisions as much as possible to see how we fare. And as far as the rumors about laughing at mistakes, most of the ugliness that's run it's course between our programs this year was started by someone who is no longer with either program. And I think if those at NCE think about where they heard some of the crap they've been told, and put it into context, it would make a lot more sense to them. There are troublemakers everywhere you go, and if they think about it they'll know exactly who and what I'm talking about.

As far as the rumor of the NCE coach saying it's our fault that Lauren got hurt...I hope that rumor is not true. I'd hate to think someone could think something so spiteful and untrue. But the post above is correct - she did not learn that skill with us, so there would be no way we could have taught her "poor technique" as the rumor states.

Bottom line - we couldn't care any less about what you do in your gym than you care about what we do in ours.

It's really sad when we ALL should be here supporting Lauren and offering our well-wishes, and this is the crap that pops up instead that has to be dealt with.

We're all very glad to hear that Lauren is home and that the prognosis is relatively good for the type of injury she sustained. Our thoughts and prayers remain with her as she now heads down the road of rehab and recovery.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the update on Lauren!!  As a Medical Professional, please don't blame yourself for moving Lauren.  You were thinking that you needed to get her off the floor so she doesn't get hurt worse.  Your thinking was right on!!  Please don't take any blame from other people......I wonder how "They'd" react if they were in the same position as you were??!!  I applaud you, and think of you as a very special and caring individual!!

Talking with my daughter, she tells me that when she's performing, she's unaware as to what's going on around her.  She also states that they are told to keep doing your routine "No matter what happens".  Well maybe there needs to be some training with the Cheerleaders on what to do if another cheerleader is hurt and on the ground!!  These Cheerleaders should not have to feel guilt if they are doing what they are told to do, even when one of their team mates are seriously injured.  That's not fair to them........

I think if it were something that serious, my coach would stop the music. But I guess "nothing hurts when you win." is what everyone goes for.

Keep in mind that the kids are told to keep going, no matter what. And since none of them have their medical degrees, they can't make a medical diagnosis while doing fulls and tucks. That isn't their position anyway. They do what they are told. It's up to the coaches to make that decision, and even though they don't have their medical degrees as well, someone has to make the call.

20/20 hindsight is always right on, but unless you are there and step in to help, you can't second guess what happened. I don't think any coach would leave an injured child on the mat just to win.

All I know is, even if my daughter is seriously hurt out on the floor, I will NEVER blame her coaches. They always do what's best for her and her teammates. Sometimes they make the right call and sometimes they don't. Just like me, they are human. Even if she were at home and did the same thing, I might make the wrong decision too.

Best wishes to everyone this holiday season.
