First congratulations to CheerForce and great job representing the state of California. I am proud of what you have accomplished and showing that your Bronze at Worlds was not a fluke.
I really hope you are able to send all three teams. Because I think you could do some real damage at Worlds with your teams. So early in the season and you're looking great.
Good job to all the teams from California. And please someone, keep us updated on the girl from NCE. Our prayers are with her and her teammates.
Actually the point you made was correct. Any which way it goes, I wish all the teams good luck!

Congrats to everyone!
WAY TO GO CF! THREE BIDS!
Someone said that CA Jags Sm Srs got a bid. Is that the bid that would have been passed down from SJS? Because how could they give a bid to 2nd place if there is a question on the boards about Cali Sm Sr not getting a bid? They go by highest scores. So the first place team would have to get a bid before a 2nd place team.

From what I heard this was originally some kind of mistake. Jags thought they had gotten the bid and California's small thought they didn't. Then that mistake was fixed and California got the bid. But I would be curious to see who is next in line in the scores, because SJS's bid has to go somewhere. I'm guessing it'll be Jags or GA's limited coed.
-Jags -NCE -Brandon -whos next in line in sm coed...
3/6 of the bids were given to large coed teams so it seems like thats the high scoring division. my precition would be NCE or brandon. only because jags unfortunatly had so many mistakes. nce hit a solid routine both days, no drops a few touches even with loosing a main flyer and i believe brandon dropped cant really remember but they have amazing skill for only 20 people on that team.
I just wanted to say that you guys really surprised me. After a shaky beginning of the season...I wasn't sure how ya'll would look. I was really impressed at your progress. And to lose a main flyer, and come back strong with a smile on your face. Congratulations to all of you and good luck the rest of the season!
It's got to be between Jags and GA limited coed, and I would lean a lot towards GA. I don't have any scores but there were big drop-offs in skill level in each division - in small senior it was after Jags, in limited coed it was after GA, in large senior it was after Panthers, and in unlimited coed it was after SJS. I would imagine that there were big big point gaps in those spots. It was the point where teams went from squad standing-2-to-fulls to squad standing-2-to-tucks, etc.
I think that they had made a mistake calling out the unpaid bids. They called out SJS (who already had a bid) instead of California Small Senior. The bids should have been:
Paid: Georgia Large Coed CheerForce Small Coed
Unpaid: Cheer Athletics Large Senior (Panthers) California Small Senior California Large Coed Cheer Athletics Small Senior (Jags)
International (also unpaid) CheerForce Int. Coed CheerForce Int. Junior
Most companies allow crossovers. It is just that Worlds doesn't allow it. So if any of these teams have crossovers they are going to have to make some tough decisions about who is going or who is going to be taken off a team.

I am kind of upset because Jags didn't make many mistakes. Granted, a girl busted and got hurt. Their stunts stuck like they did the 1st day. It was awesome, and everything looked great other than the parts the girl couldn't do. Personally I think their routine was in a league of their own. I still hope they can get a bid.

AC scoresheets are not broken down into skill but just one overall score and there is no longer a tech merit score. If there was CA would of won both divisions, not just one.
The scores are still based on skill level. There are no longer bonus points, but the scores are broken down by level and skills that *should* be seen at that level - multiple fulls and double fulls, etc. I've scored for AC this year and skills still count. I might even have a sheet around here somewhere that explains how. If I can find it, I'll give you the gist of it.
