dun dun dun I HAVE THE ANSWER!! lol here's the deal...You are right they did decline their world's bid from Athletic because some of the guys that were on their team quit and as you know it you have to compete with the same team that was on the floor at the competition when you are awarded the bid and with 10 replacements...kentucky elite declined their bid for the oposite reason, we competed with 18 guys and now we have 24 so we will receive, hopefully, a full paid bid at one of the next 3 comps we are going to that provide them. GA's bid went to the next team, which is KE large coed but we declined it as well because like I said we are both in the same boat...the next team it went to is Kentucky Elite Large Senior 5...so yeah KE Senior All Girl has the full paid bid provided by Athletic...
Brandon stacked up very well in this group, although I don't think well enough (at least based on today) to earn a bid. Today Cheerforce Diamonds were the clear leader with GA behind them. After that its a big toss up for me - I thought KC, Brandon, and Mavericks were all pretty close. Lots of mistakes all around though, except Cheerforce, lots of tumbling falls and touches.
It was okay...again, a lot of tumbling falls and touches. I have it down as very close between CA and Cali for 1st/2nd and between Airborne and NCE for 3rd/4th.
Ca jags = lots of mistakes 3 touch downs and a knee down. Wobbles during stunts and a fall. Definatly not the same team as we saw last year here or we (CALIFORNIA ) have come a long way in a year.
CA allstars sm. jr. pretty good but jags was better even with all the mistakes.
KC CHEER= They hit their routine well but I didn't care for the dance that much.
Brandon= They were really good and had lots of skill.
Cheerforce= Wow they looked fantastic and if they can hit it even cleaner tomorrow they just may win a paid bid. But this is my opinion as of right now. I have yet to see the lg. all girl and lg. coed that starts in about 40 minutes.
Georgia= Another fantastic routine and very entertaining I am putting them right behind cheerforce.
Cheerforce and Cali's juniors should take the 2 international bids hands down. Large senior was sort of a mess - CA was awesome and no one else was even close. Coed was better - GA, South Jersey and Cali were all awesome. Huge gap between them and the others.
I judged today and I was amazed with Cheerforce. I mean everyone was very good, but I was not expecting CF to come out that strong!! Nice job co-eds! Panthers looked great. (pretty bad collision) Jags, I was expecting more. California came out strong, but not as strong as I suspected. NCE looked good. GA was great too, but that guys pants!!!! Hahaha. VERY IMPRESSED. Now, it's round two ATHLETES!!!
mavericks small coed had a really really big deduction if they didnt im pretty sure they wouldnt be in last. it was a 20 point deduction because we had 2 girls front spot a basket during the tumbling that the girls just ddecided to throw.and then a lot of messups too.
Question ? wrote: I have a question about GA lg unlimited coed. Will they be deducted for the guy whose pants fell down twice ? If so how much is the deduction ?
According to the rule book page 8 it is a 20 point deduction for each pants down BUT... final ruling is up to the tournanent director.
I hope they dont take points for his pants...I mean it was definitely a distraction but he just rolled with it and kept on going. He was doing all he could to get them to stay up while waiting in the corner for his pass, too. He did a good job at not making a big deal of it and just kept going. I do wish they'd take points for girls messing with their skirts though! It drives me nuts!
