Last Year USASF guidelines were different than the current season. They were changed in Atlanta at the NACCC in January 2006!

Portia, the coach you are referring to that cheered last year is a Junior in College now, but did meet the age requirement set forth by the USASF for last season’s teams. As far as this year, all of our members meet the age requirement mandated by the USASF. We have birth certificates and photo ID or Report cards on all of our kids and have them at every competition in case someone makes a false claim against us.

Following in Cheer Athletics footsteps... That would be great in terms of skill development, choreography, and the way Jody handles things, I would love to follow in their footsteps. I have nothing but respect and admiration for their program.

It's not sucking up, it's called friendship. Where you don't just turn your back on someone and start talking smack just because someone else is.

I can't help but wonder if the accuser here is just making assumptions on this persons age. Maybe she is "assuming" she is the same age as her based on being in the same grade. Wonder how well the accuser actually knows this person.. Do they know her Birthdate? I also have a hard time believing that a program as distinguised as Power would jeapordize their reputation Is this girl an off the hook tumbler? Flyer? what did she bring to the team that would be worth jeapordizing? I take ALL accusations on this board with a grain of salt.

I don't know if your all aware of this but I know a girl who knows a girl who went to school with a girl who heard a rumor from her grandma's twin sister with alzeimers that CA. all-star programs are using 42 year olds to their level 5 teams just to add tumblers! I think we should call out the press and drop names so we can have the cheer police arrest them! I don't think its right to do this so we should all ban together on the message boards and start name droppin! After all, my 5yr. old works very hard to do her backhandspring and its not fair! nothing's ever fair!

So does anyone know this girls name? I've been reading the messages but still can't figure out exactly who else you could be referring to or is this just a case of someone who wishes that they were either on Power or possibly as good as Power and they have nothing better to do but try and stir up gossip.
You seriously need to think about the accusations that you post on these boards because you never know it may come back to bite you in the A**. So before you decide to try and put down another gym, stop and think about what you are doing and ask your self how would you feel if everyone was talking smack about your gym and how that would make you feel.

The more you try to put down or hurt a gyms reputation the harder that gym will work to prove to you and everyone around you that they can do whatever it takes to shine and accomplish what they set out to do. So stop and think before you post, theres no need for all the negativity on these boards.
