So now that we have the results can someone recap small senior 5 for those of us who were not there. We know who one but do you think the placements were on target with what you saw?
I think the results were okay. For me, NCE and Fusion could have gone either way, but Power was the clear winner with the only hit routine. Pyramids could contend if they could hit their tumbling.
POWER sm gettign 1st..given thats just something one learns to accept haha. but as far as the other 3 i thought it was pretty accurate .. they all had their little messups including POWER but but next to theri impressive skill level, NCE was the most entertaining..i think if pyramids would have hit they'd have been better than Fusion's sm sr5.
Power was great and for only running that routine full out once before they competed I have to say WOW. They just have a much higher skill base than any other team that competed. They have some cleaning to do and they need to insert some difficulty into a few parts, but they are off to a crazy start this year. That program keeps getting stronger and stronger. I cannot wait to see what is added to that routine, Many girls were told to hold back and go as clean as possible. should be exciting when they go full force
NCE- Love the energy of the routine. The girl on point for the dance was the best performer of the weekend. I think that their tumbling is not as difficult as it should be for a level 5 team, but great job for them. They have the performance down, now they have to build thier skills.
Fusion- I did not see them so I cannot comment. I did hear that they did much better than AB, so great job to them
Pyramids- too many mistakes to hang with anyone. I loved the routine, but you cannot make mistakes like that and still be comptitive. The change to thier pyramid was very impressive. I thought that was the highlight of the routine. Keep working hard girls
Keep in mind .. our sm sr [ Venus ] have more fulls and doubles than were thrown this past weekend, but going in knowing that the consistency of them was iffy they were not put in. But don't worry you will see more later =]
