Look on their websites. Sheesh
I'm telling you, that fierce competed in YOUTH level 1 in san jose .. they must have dropped down a division and moved their 9,10 and 11 year olds to their next team senior level2 .. does anyone know?

Yes in San Jose We competed in Youth level 1, and no we did not drop down a division and move any of our girls on this team up to level 2. Our website says mini, but they are now youth
Thanks for reminding me to change that!!! Our youngest team is youth level 1. The Ladybugs. WE have only about three older girls on the team so we had to go youth or else cut them from the program, and we weren't about to do that. That team could possibly progress to youth level 2 by the end of the season, but right now... not just yet!!!
At the beggining of the season that team had no backhandsprings and now we have about 8. So eventually, and hopefully, we will move them up, but they to progress in stunting as well to be moved up.

I read everything in the thread .. aparently home girl was right! she told you fierce wasn't a mini team. They were so cute though in san jose! i agree. I loe youth divisions!
I have had the privilege of seeing Cheerforce Youth 5 team this year and last. They are amazing. It is too bad that team in Northern California move all of their little girls up to the Senior 5 teams instead of creating some solid Youth 4 teams. I would be interested to know how many girls under the age of 12 or so are on the following Level 5 teams
Motions All American Pyramids Athletic Perfection Cheer Odyssey POWER Starstruck Cheer Divas Fusion
I took out royals and rebels because i dont think they have youth age girls on higher teams just because of individual skill levels .. but i agree that it would be interesting to see how many more of the above listed teams have youth-aged girls on senior teams. DUH its going to be easier to toss around 50/60 pound fliers!
There are some small gyms that might have only 1 or 2 athletes under the age of 12 that have level 5 skills. If that small gym only had jr or youth team that was level 3, what would you do? Keep them on a level 3 team? Or make the youth/jr level 3 team compete level 5?
I don't think you can authomatically "condemn" a gym because they put younger kids on sr teams.
I believe that fierce has way too many little girls being thrown around in the air just because they dont have any junior teams. If they would legitimately place all of the smaller girls on the same team in the right age group they would be so good! I think youth and jr teams are more impressive as well when they are in their proper division. I LOVE FIERCE THOUGH! DONT GET ME WRONG. Just seems like anyone can thrown around little girls in the air, you know?
I dont want fierce to take it the wrong way because i think your teams are amazing I just needed an example! And truth being told, I wish your large level5 team luck because i really want you guys to win!! =)
Did you guys see PYRAMIDS youth Level 2 team? They took 1st out of 6 teams at the San Jose (GSSA) comp. ( I heard they only practice once a week.) WOW! I THOUGHT THEY LOOKED GREAT AND THE ROUTINE WAS FUN TO WATCH.
