Okay, I did some digging (wasn't actually hard to find). American Championships has the following listed as divisions:
Worlds Cheer Teams -Worlds International Jr Level 5 14 yrs & younger females only 5+ members -Worlds International Jr Open Level 5 14 yrs & younger 1 or more males 5+ members -Worlds Sr Small Level 5 18 yrs & younger females only 5-20 members -Worlds Sr Large Level 5 18 yrs & younger females only 21-35 members -Worlds Sr Coed Small Level 5 18 yrs & younger 1 to 4 males 5-35 members -Worlds Sr Coed Large Level 5 18 yrs & younger 5+ males 5-35 members -Worlds International Open Level 5 14 yrs & Older females only 5+ members -Worlds International Open Coed Level 5 14 yrs & Older 1 or more males 5+ members
So, International teams have no upper limit to numbers. Now that will be interesting. Has anyone seen Cheerforce Rockiez with their 42 on the floor competing?
I did a bit more investigation and found the following information in the USASF Information and Registration Packet on line.
"The team receiving the “Paid”/“Partial Paid”/“At Large” bid must understand that a maximum of 35 participants (small senior coed, large senior coed, large senior all girl and all four international open divisions) and a maximum of 20 participants (small senior all girl) will be eligible to perform."
So, I think we still need to hear from CF and find out why they have 40+ listed in their international teams going to Vegas.

AC Watcher, can you tell us how many Cheerforce had on the floor for their Int'l teams (Jr and Open Coed)? On the schedule they listed more than 35 but how many did they actually compete with?
You know, I didn't even notice. I'm guessing, based on that, that it was 35, just because I would think I would have had some sort of "Holy cow, that's a lot of people on the floor" reaction if there had been 40-some. But I don't know for sure - maybe someone else was paying attention? I was more looking for someone I knew on that team than anything else :)
Magic ended in third place. The first day they were in 5th and the second day they tied with cheer athletics in 2nd place to pull them up to 3rd. They had clean skills , great energy and super pyramid. They were very good.
OK folks, think business. Subs, crossovers ect. No crossovers at worlds. Only 10 subs. Every registered kid PAID FOR! 35 on the mat. Hello? Anyone thinking? CF obviously knows what they are doing. Smart business people. Also great cheerleaders! (Had to throw that in)
