i think wrote: Roy for choreography and John for coaching ..that would be awesome..cuz then it would be super creative and fun to watch and yet very clean at the same time.
you could save roy's time and have john do both. johns choreography is way better anyway. I dont even see how you could compare the two. John's chroeography is organized, where roys on the the other hand, is not. He has kids running all over the floor.

Roy's choreography is amazing to say the LEAST. It's fast pace, fun and looks good on the floor. Now your talking about transitions which can be cleaned up easily. The actual moves that NCE does are really good. I loved their senior all girl teams. So fetch!!

Lets take video submissions until January 15, 2007. In Juniors lets do 4th grade to 9th grade and Sr coed Lets do 7th to 12th grade. Make the videos around a minute and a half of your best skills (EX. tumbling, jumps, motions, flying or basing)... Send the video to Babychangeapparel@hotmail.com. I will host them on my site then everyone can vote.
Maybe during the summer this team can get together and work once in Southern california and once in northern california. We can use our gym for southern california and maybe someone will volunteer for northern.
My apparel company will supply the team with clothing and we will raise money to help improve the special needs programs in California.

I also think this will be a great way to create more of a bond in california cheerleading for athletes and coaches..... I have received a couple videos already please keep sending them in, it would be nice to have a great group of athletes to select from.....

Things we would need help with are going to be setting up fundrasiers all over California.... Also if anyone knows of any corporate sponsers that would like to help. We are raising this money to help build stronger and add more special needs programs to the state of California.....
We are setting up the organization called "A Special Cheer for Everyone".....
AS a cheer mom, this frightens me. I would hav to drive my kid to timbuctoo and pay more with more risk to her in the way of injuries..... and then where is her original team then?
Uggggg... good luck guys. Really. But I think I'll keep mine home. It should be pretty interesting though!
how about nelson?? hes a great coach ...!!!!!!!! hes from motions ... and the twins kyle and alex and tuti and lex already almost have there double they kinda already do there from motions and and nicole and lex are excelent flyers from motions!!!]

I don't think you understand. This is not a long-term or even season-long thing, really. It's being talked about more as something for the summer, with the end result being a few performances to raise money to improve and start special needs teams. Your child would remain on and with their original team.
Who would your audience be? Money is made by spectators paying and they are usually families of all the cheerleaders participating. You're talking about two teams, right? Or will there be more, maybe I should read closer. So two teams, how many performances? It would have to be enough to last at least an hour to be worth anyone's drive out and cost of admission. Maybe I'm confused about that part (how you'll make money), someone fill me in. It sounds more like a fun thing for those who are chosen.
You could always split the formations down the middle NOrth/South and have the stunt groups all North/South so that they could practice in their own areas in addition to the "whole group" practices!!!
Best of luck, I am bummed...my daughter is too young.

Mine is too!! But what a way to show the little ones what true sportsmanship is all about. Seeing a girl or boy from your gym working with kids from other gyms. It could really inspire them. My daughter LOVES to watch the older kids and has told us she can't wait to be a ROCKET for Odyssey. Keep us posted, we will be there will all of our SPIRT!!
