As we should all know by now if you've been cheering for a number of years and have gone to numerous competitions, past results don't mean much this early in the season. All it takes are a few falls here and there to change the results. We shall see how close those predictions are, it'll be fun!
how can u even compare motions skill level and choreography to norcal? honestly im from southern california and i've seen both of them compete and know athletes from both teams and norcal is faaaar more entertaining and talented [ in my opinion ] than motions anyday.
I think people are basing their opinion on what they have seen so far....motions have hit more solid this season than NCE. Both teams have a lot of talent.
don't matter what either team has done this season so far. that's in the past. what matters is what the teams will do on the 9th.
i hope no one on either team takes what is said to heart. they are just opinions. take them for what they are worth.
i for one am excited to see what both teams bring out onto the floor on the 9th (as well as CO), how the judges sort it all out and the part i'm most anxious to see...the fallout on the message boards.
Cheer Ody is so far out of their league. They do not have the skills. They are like a level 5 team 5 years ago. Nor Cal and Motions will have to crash and burn in order for Cheer Ody to beat them. They are clean but they do not have the skills.
I also think that Cheer Odyssey needs to add to their skills, but I don't think they're that far off. As long as they know they won't win if they keep that exact routine. If they don't make changes, then yes, they'll lose to the, as someone else put it, big dogs. GSSA will be a good test for them.

What same routine?
I think they were tring to say the routine they currently have. They will need to add or change to that routine. Which is not uncommon for teams to do throughout the season, add or change happens all the time.
They can change all they want, but the fact is they do not have the skills. Can they teach all of their kids triple toebacks in a week. can they teach them at least 6 doubbles in a week. They might win, if they get a break like this weekend with Airborne. If other level 5 teams fall apart and they stay clean. It might be possible.

I am sure they will do that knowing what they are up against this upcoming comp. Didn't see them last weened but heard their routine was changed from the AB comp and they were pretty good. I think they won a choreography award with their routine last weekend too.... I think.

Exactly, it is possible depending on various things! Good luck Cheer Odyssey, and everyone else too!

awwwww!!!!!! I'm sorry your so jealous! That's what happens when teams win there's always going to be an explaination as to why they won!! Not that their just a good team right?? Why don't people just say good job and leave at that?

I agree. It happens all the time when other teams win too. it's not because they did good, nooooo.....it's because the other teams just had a bad day. that doesn't make sense to me. Why can't everyone just congratulate the teams that won instead of telling them negative things?
