Nope, don't think sweatshirts instead of the embroidered jackets they advertised is cool. Less expensive for them, yes. If they're going to do sweatshirts instead they need to put that on their website cuz otherwise it's misleading.
On one hand, I think sweatshirts are a cheap way to get out of spending $$$ but on the other, my daugther wears her sweatshirt at least twice a week. She's worn her jacket once in two years. Now, the light jackets or velour ones are real nice and feel more like sweatshirts. That would be a good middle ground.
We have a heavy jacket that my daughter only wore twice (too warm), but she loves her Jamz windbreaker. I agree, somewhere in the middle would be nice. Sweatshirts are too cheap IMO; unless they are thick and hooded.
I agree on the cheap thing... but on the same hand, a sweatshirt is nice. I'd chose a hoodie over a warm frieken jacket anyday!!! If they are going to do advertise jackets it should be jackets though. BUT I LOVE HOODIES!!!
I thought the sweatshirts that JamFest gave out were way too plain. They were grey with black lettering which looked even cheaper since they didn't even have to use any color at all. I was quite disappointed!!!
They are navy sweatshirts with a large patch sewn on the back that reads: State Cheer and Dance Champions and red star sewn on the front. Disappointing I wanted a jacket :(
That is very disappointing, that they were sweatshirts, and not the jackets they advertise right on their website. How do they get away with that? Am I missing something on their website that says jackets or sweatshirts?? Also disappointing is the photography company they have chosen; it's all about money, and the reason they don't post pictures on a website for others to order is they don't have the resources to do so.
I check the web site for the photos. They listed the comp and you can enter the initial of you team and it will list them, but when you try to view them you get an error. Other competitions can be viewed. So I think they tried to post them but it's just not working and I don't think they have any plans to fix it. Pretty sad isn't it.

No actually I spoke to a lady in the office. AMerican CHampionships and Universal Event Photo have an agreement that they WILL not post the photos at AT ANY TIME on their website. This is a matter that gym owners would need to discuss with CTC as far as getting it changed.
We got our Sweatshirts and I was very disappointed because the arms are too short on most of them. I think they must have gotten them from the irregular section.
