(I wouldn't put any of the other teams mentioned in other posts, and ones people left out, in these last two spots just yet .. the season is still too new)
no order 1. Cheerforce 2. fierce 3. california 4.maverics 5. power 6. motions sorry, starz extreme, airborne, pyramids are not close to hitting these teams. When they want it, they'll kill for it.
My Top ten this season (I think It's pretty accurate) :
1. CheerForce (senior co-ed 5 and junior 5) 2. POWER (junior 5 and senior small/large 5) 3. CA Bullets (senior co-ed 5 and small senior 5) 3. American Cheer (small senior 5) 4. Fierce (senior large 5) 5. Mavericks (senior co-ed 5) 6. Motions 7. So Cal Extreme 8. Airborne 9. Nor Cal Elite 10. Club Cheer Twisters
I have seen Norcal. And that's really rude. Yes, they were a mess and sloppy.... But I think they'll come up. They have the talent just not the energy YET.
NCE has talent but there not quite there yet. I saw them at the American Championship comp in San Jose. I think the list is correct also. No one is bashing these are just opinions. It's early in the season and I'm sure this list will change quite a few times.
Not sure why you would put some of those mentioned on that list, but lists, like most other things on this message board, are subjective and almost always biased. Haven't seen enough from anyone to justify such a list, it's just too early in the competition season. But if we're going to list them, it would be nice to put some facts (results, or solid reasons) next to the names to back it up. Otherwise any gym can come on here and throw their name out.
Compliments are wonderful but until there are results, it's tough to pick the best. A particular gym could have a bad year just as easily as another. But seeing what everyone has to say is fun anyway, even if our gym isn't listed most of the time.
I don't ever get offended. It's just another reason to work harder!!!
Funny wrote: Seen Club Cheer Twisters.... they shouldn't be on that list. OC can beat them.
OC did beat them at GSSA. Club Cheer Twisters only had 3 teams competing: Sr All Girl Level 5, Jr Coed Level 4, and Small Youth Level 2. OC beat them in Sr Lv 5 and Youth Level 2. There were no other teams in Jr Coed Lv 4.
No, I'm not from OC and I haven't seen either gyms this year. But CCT is going through some transitions and I imagine this year will be hard for them.

#'s 8 and 9 are going to change a lot this season. But I think some contenders for that spot will be Airborne, So Cal Elite, OC, Club Cheer Twisters, High Desert Cheer (Spirit Athletics), Athletic Perfection, and Pyramids.
Motions and Nor Cal should def be on there, but in what order I do not know. Also my top five are subject to switch around as time goes by.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of POWER.... and American in the small senior 5 div this season. Those two teams are going to bash it out till the end and will both most likely end up with Worlds bids.
It seems like CA and CF will be great again. CF and CA will both get worlds bids.
I have never seen Fierce but I hear they will be at CheerSport this year. That should be exciting. I hear they are super original and exciting to watch.
I've heard that Mavericks will be good too. And also Motions.
You can't base your list off of 1 good team. Sorry having one good level 5 team doesn't consititute being the best. I think being top 5 means you should have been in the game a while.
1. California 2. Cheer Force 3. POWER 4. American 5. So Cal Elite/WC Mavericks
cheergyms.com, airborne, cheer with a tiwst, fierce, OC, Club Cheer, and High Desert have good parts to their routines but it's not the whole package yet. Just keepin it real. BTW, motions has a busy routine, but would like it more if they didn't have like 15 tumbling sections. Let's see some other stuff.
CF and CA have a lot of good teams and def deserve to be in the top two. American - I have not seen this season but I've heard they are having troubles. But they usually have good teams. They def need to be in top five. POWER, duhhhh yeah have good teams. But mainly 4 and 5. Fierce has a lot of good teams. Their 3,4, and 5 senior were awesome in San Jose for CTC. So I don't know why they shouldn't be in the top five.
I still believe my list is right and is subject to change. I'll wait until proven otherwise. And it's just an opinion remember?
I saw Fierce in San Jose too, but to me they just need to be sharper. I don't mean in motions/dance, but just in their whole routine. I couldn't even believe their senior 3 team was a senior team, it looked like a youth or mini team with their size of their flyers. They are good, I give them that, but not top 5 material yet.
