Well if the team is good then it stands to reason that they would score well at any competition. The 3 top scores from last years american grand went to Cheer Athletics Panthers, Cheer Athletics Jags and California Allstar large coed. All 3 of these are excellent teams. As far as difficulty goes Cheerforce and South Bay had difficulty but had errors so as far as I could tell the judges based scores on both difficulty and cleanliness (as it should be).
American Grand has to be one if not the BEST competition out here on the west coast and there has to be a reason it attracts World Champs like Cheer Athletics....hmmm anyone know why?

Could be that CA saw this competition that wasn't that far and looked at past attendees and said "Hey, this is an easy place to get a bid". Non of our regular top contenders go there. So, lets go get a bid early."

And...I bet SBE said, "Hey we usually win at this competition because there is usually not any high ranked teams that go. So this is our one chance to get a bid. Lets go and get our bid." If I'm not mistaken, that was the only competition they had on their schedule that was giving bids. Later they added GSSA when they lost at American Grand. And then, when they didn't win there, they tried to raise money to go to some mid-west competition to get a "guaranteed" bid. That didn't happen so they tried to go to Jamz, but missed the deadlines for submitting paperwork since they didn't got to any Jamz regionals.
American Grand since last year has become a competition that more of the top teams go to since they started giving out bids. If it wasn't for the bids, not sure how great this competition would be.
I think I'm gonna start a thread about mac and cheese. I bet by page 2 there will be a way to link that to SBE/NCE, so you guys can start bashing them. Give it a break. Doesn't this nonsense ever get old? I'm not part of their gym, but I read these boards often and get tired of the same teams getting dragged into stuff that doesn't concern them, that they weren't even posting about. Worry about your teams bid, that is if they can find some competition to scam one from. I'm betting you haven't made it to Worlds yourself, or if you have, your bid was probably one of those "easy bids" we hear so much about.
i`ve never had gold and black macaroni and cheese hrmm .. but yeah honestly where did SBE come from? i love how ur like " i bet SBE said" and made up a whole like monologue of what we said or ut hink our reasons were. thats actually hilarious. but im honored that we are the most talked about team on this board...if we really were that horrible ppl wouldnt put so much time and enrgy into bashing us so .. THANKS!
In almost every thread, (including this one) someone brings their name up first. They sometimes respond to whoever is bashing and defend their team, sometimes they don't. But, I notice that the people that constantly bring them up NEVER have the balls to say what gym they come from.

just to clear things up.
1. Both GSSA competitions were always on the schedule 2. Cheer gyms is smart for not going to american grand if they dont do well there. 3. SBE has gone to American grand for a verry long time, they won the first program award there and 10,000. WE score well there and always enjoy the comeptition. It gets bigger every year and if WE were scared of teams we'd stop going and would have planed to go to jamz last year instead of american grand where there were FAR less level five teams.

PS- SBE beat cheerforce in vegas
Just a point I wanted to make. This is the 5th of November and Cheergyms is at a competition today. So evidently the last couple of posters were not from Cheergyms. So I guess you can't blame these negative posts on them. Yet you continue to knock them down any chance you get. I'm tired of the bashing that goes on in this message board also. But bare in mind that it is anonymous board and you don't always know who is posting these messages. Sorry if NCE (SBE) feels they are constantly the target here, but the bashing you do to cheergyms on there own message board it just as bad. What ever happened to good sportmanship.
I agree, too much cheergyms and NCE/SBE bashing. But just a sidenote, all stars don't go on until after 3, awards are at 6:30 ... very short competition. 2/3 of the divisions have no competition, so there will be plenty of first place awards. I'll be interested to see how the other 1/3 does though, good competition in those divisions.
