The quality of the pictures was not very good at all. I saw very few that anyone would probably want to buy. Many were out of focus, blurry, or zoomed way too far out.
All of the photos are blurry because they are low resolution. If you want to see a clear high resolution of that image clear on the tab in the lower right.
Right, to see higher quality (resolution), you need to select that option. I was very pleased with the pictures, and impressed with how fast they put them up.
Our gym has 3 photographers on staff so we don't hav to buy photos at competitions. We get their pictures taken all season for 65.00 including practices, our showcase and all competitions. Then we can buy them at the end of the year for about 2 to 10 dollars apiece depending on the sizes (regular size up to poster) or get them all on a CD for 50.00. We usually end up with about 300 photos for the entire season.
What i like about it is that we have a computer in the breakroom that we can see what they have taken so far and if we need something or want something, we can buy it. It's nice cause they are as nice as the ones at the competitions and a lot more personal.
thanks to our photographers. one of them frequents this message board. WE LOVE YOU
Tamara, go to Jamzcheer.com then allstar cheer and there is a link at the top that says "quick links". Click on that and go to the last one "Event Photos/DVD" and that will take you to RT Productions site.
Yes, we pay 65.00 to have them make SURE that our child is photographed during the season. Think of it as having your own photographer following your child around. Its especailly nice cause if your kid is a back base or in the back, you KNOW you will get photos of them. Then competition photographers tend to photograph the flyers and front people most cause that's what is available. Plus, our photographers know the kids and the routines. They know when a kid will be in a position to take a shot. They also can take pictures backstage and when the coaches only can be with them.
I really like having her picture taken when she's at practice. She's relaxed and doesn't have all the makeup on. Plus they get their pictures taken for the Wall Of Fame where every cheerleader gets their picture on the entrance wall with their team. We also get team photos and a gym wide photo (new this year). We didn't have this at our old gym 2 years ago. I spent tons on competition photos that only had my daughters head or part of her body. It was awful cause she's a back base. So far I have about 50 super good photos of her and competition hasn't even started yet! It's way cool!
I haven't bought any of the photos cause I am getting the CD at the end of the year, but if I need one for something (like our family) it's about 2 bucks a photo.
