So I have a question, comment, observation. Power Cheer did the whole Zebra bow thing for worlds and I've seen some pictures of the girls from Power that are wearing Zebra tanks at practice, worlds, bows in pics ect.
I was a competition this weekend and saw Nor Cal Elite with the same Zebra motif. and I believe Cali All Stars does the same. Is this a united front or is this just a fluke and the owners all think alike?
My girls have zebra practice outfits and I didn't have any idea about Nor Cal or Power having a zebra motif, for us it was just something different and black and white is easy to tie into our color theme.
I think wal-mart started it nationwide-then it spread to other stores HA HA! Why doesn't everyone right down the date of when they wear things so they can be 1st, or right! I wore the 1st pair of candie high heels in the 80's with jeans I had the same disco outfit in 3 colors with my platform shoes
I think I was the first one to wear Candies high heels with my skin tight, lay down on the bed to zip them up, Jordache jeans!!!! Or were they Guess jeans?!?
Well I've been doing cheerleading a LONG time and the first gym to wear anything animal print was World Cup. All these other teams just started in the past 3-4 years, WC did it like at least 7-8 years ago. So its pretty accurate.
my team has been wearing zebra for the past 2 years. (bows, practice clothes, && now this year spankies.) and i'm not saying anyone copied anyone, cause really. . . it's just fun. really- who cares where it started.

World Cup started Leopard print but they're pretty much the only known team that weas that .. i think the person above was talking about who started Zebra .. not the whole animal thing in general

I knew it was spelled wrong.... I could only remember that their logo had a train on it!!! Plus when I was wearing them.....3rd grade..... I know that I didn't know how to spell it then either! LOL
It's actually "Chemin de Fer", French for Train. Sadly, I was actually a full grown woman and unable to wear them when they were out, but I do remember them.
