too good

california allstars are too good to have people making up stuff and making excuses for them. Leave that to the mediocr programs! Obviously, for whatever reason, yesterday wasn't their best day. Obviously they will be better, but don't make them look bad by making lame excuses and blatent lies. I so look forward to seeing them every time. They have entertained me so many times that being a bit let down yesterday is ok. They are a great program. They don't need anyone's bs. They KNOW when and how they messed up.

CA Coed has full toe touch back tucks and like 22 doubles and at least 15 standing fulls. They will be a great team this year in this I have no doubt. The kids are so close on that team and they all look out for each other. When you have a team of people that mesh well the end result is usually fantastic. Also, the last tumbling pass belongs to Jeff and he looked great, the team is very proud of him and in all of our members. The tumbling pass before Jeff is Dobby and he has never been to SBE.

Were you counting and then multiplying by 3 ?

CA Coed was the highest score of the day. There score was a 99/100, Average score. So, there are the facts. Yes, we had a rough day. But thats okay. It was our first time out. Yes we are dissapointed and upset about our performance. However, we don't dwell on the negative. It makes us stronger. Good Luck to ALL.

I hope this board is not going to turn in to a hater board for Cali Bullets. Because I have never seen anyone from the gym posting negative comments or being rude to other teams. In fact we would hope that all the teams in California could be friends and that way it means more when we go to an out of state competition. It is fun to cheer on other teams from your state. We look forward to seeing everyone and wish you all a great season!

I second that.

I have every confidence that CA Bullets will be fine. And while it's nice to dominate and win every competition, frankly they'll have a successful season if they only win twice: once to get a bid and once in April.

Every advanced team I saw had atleast one touch so how could anyone score a 99 with a touch. I think this competition scores way to high. I don't think Cf should of got higher then a 95 and No one should of got a 98 or a 99. They were good, but damn a 99 and 98 is pretty much perfect. Maybe they need better judges next time. I don't know those scores seem really high.

I agree with that. The teams that should of won did win, but such high scores is mind boggling. I can't wait till vegas. It should be a great comp with a little more accurate scores.

Judges

The judges at Jamz are the most unqualified judges anywhere. The scores were way too high for everyone. The judging panel was comprised of mostly Palomar cheerleaders or alumni. Some of which work for gyms located in Southern California. (Very unprofessional for a company who has several worlds bids to hand out at nationals). Some of which also have just graduated high school and have never judged before on this level. Some of which have never been on a team in which the skill level was even close to California Allstars or Cheerforce. I am 100% positive that the deductions giving out (or not) were not accurate by any means. I applaud the teams that put everything they had on the floor. However, it is a judges duty to catch EVERY touch out in tumbling and deduct accordingly. Most companies these days have judges sitting on every corner of the floor just for deduction purposes. Lastly, my question is "Does clean matter anymore????" It is my opinion that watching perfectly locked out legs in stunts and perfect arm positions in stunts(high v or pointing up) and straight, uncrossed, pointed toed double downs beats EVERYTHING!!!! The judges at Jamz competitions are underqualified and extremely unknowledgable in regards to skill execution and flow of routine choreography??? Extremely unprofessional judging panel which will lead to the same thing at nationals.

Is he (Jeff) the WAY hot one on Bullets, if so my friend and I almost died when we saw him, he is beautiful! There are several good looking guys on that team, I wish I was on their team but then I might not be able to concentrate. :)

Scores earlier were misquoted, I think I'll wait for the official post. What I heard was CF 98.5 (no question) CA top 5 teams, average 95.3. What did you hear?

It already happened at National's last year. The Jamz Judges put GSSA judges to shame. In fact the entire circus is a slap to the athletes.
