Choreography award does not mean that you had the highest score of the day. It just means that the judges really enjoyed your performance.
Also, I highly doubt that Tannaz would need anyone to double up on teams. They have so many kids at that gym ( 2 locations ) that if they do double she knows the rules and has no reason to break them. She is one of the strongest business woman and cheer coach that I have met
Well it is sometimes and sometimes not. I think it depends on the competition. I was under the impression that it is always against the rules to compete on two teams within the same age group unless it is all girl to coed.

Are you serious? CA has doubling/tripling down to a science. It's legal, so more power to them. On the competitions that it's not allowed, Tannaz is smart enough to not do it. But, don't say that CA doesn't double team, because they do.
Yes Jasmine did that in 2005 at WSF in Las Vegas. In fact she competed 11 times that weekend and 8 times in a roll on the 2nd day. She is a awesome athlete. We love her. It was a weekend that none of us will forget anytime soon. Our teams kept winning and making it to the next round of competition. It was unheard of and several kids including JJ didn't even have time to eat that day/night. It was amazing how she and all of the other kids kept performing one after another after another. It was a testiment to their will and the efforts of their hard work.

Not everything is always going to go as planned. The difference with this situtation and the one that happened in San Francisco is that "they" weren't ready...period. Not that an injury caused a stunt or two from going up, etc. Get real!!! Everyone understands an injury. Look at Encore at worlds. Now that is what you call getting it together. Also, look at Cali Sm Srs, they had a injury a week before Worlds. Some teams won't let a setback be an excuse. But with all that said, if a coach has taught the team that they can only win or compete when all things are going perfect; I wonder how many teams would ever compete. Food for thought.
ENCORE READY!??!!? AT WORLDS???? GET REAL.... ENCORE HAD TO PULL AND F5 GIRL TO FILL IN THE TUMBLING PASSES..... SO IF YOU'RE GOING TO TALK YOUR SH*T PLEASE KNOW YOUR FACTS!!!!!!
Maybe YOU should tell this little tid bit to the USASF or something.... cuz nobody cares. If Encore pulled a girl or not, they suffered an injury and got it together and did their Sh*t. Got it, good!
ACTUALLY, CA'S (LARGE) JUNIORS WERE MY FAVORITE TEAM OF THE DAY. I THOUGHT IT COULD HAVE GONE EITHER WAY. GOOD JOB TO BOTH TEAMS
Both large jr teams were fun to watch. The routines were creative. They were clean and sharp. As for going either way? No way. CF had at least 6 standing fulls, CA maybe 1? CF had at least 12 double fulls, CA maybe 3? All the tumbling was like that. That is a huge difference! In all other areas, sure it was close. As for the tumbling, not even close. CF had WAY more difficulty. A few boo-boos, but still a 98.5. I personally LOVED CAs routine! But CF was technically better.
Ok so now, those rudies who were slamming Shawn for possibly not competing and implying cf wouldn't be good enough without 1 girl.....what say you now?? LOL Shawn knows what he is doing, and it shows! I doubt there will be any apologies, people like that don't roll that way, but there surely should be!
If Ca small juniors and large juniors are from two different locations you can sure see the difference. The large juniors were so much flashier and entertaining and the small should probably move down to level 4 and rechoreograph the entire routine.
I was at the JAMZ competition yesterday and my kid is not on CA or CF so I am going to give an unbiased opinion.
They were both GREAT! I could not believe how many teams CA Bullets has and all of their routines were good. I believe the Bullet coaches prefer adding more difficulty as the season goes on and trying to develop their athletes. All of the level 5 teams were good, and I think the next time we see the large Sr. coed team it will have a WOW factor. Sticking all tumbling would have made that an awesome routine!! They need to have more stunt groups however, they have alot of guys and they NEED to have 11 stunts. The Cheerforce Jrs. had 10 stunts going up with all girls and Jr. girls at that. If CF can put up 10 stunts with little kids then 20 some guys should be able to get up 11 stunts. If they want to do well at nationals they need 11 stunts!! Also the last CA tumbler was great, alot of energy and he was pumping at the end of his pass, I am sure he could do a rebound and go back to the other side that would be GREAT! So...more partner stunts, a rebound tumbling pass, sticking tumbling and some added difficulty to the stunt sequnces and CA will be a HUGE force to be reckoned with anywhere, they have the talent to do that and I can't wait to see it!!
Cheerforce was fantastic, I see them doing an AWESOME job and to have such an action packed routine at the beginning of the season is amazing. I do have one question on the routine, I like to watch some of the you tube videos and the Cheerforce routine looked very similiar to the one the Small Coed did in San Francisco, is this the same routine?
I did not hear any scores given out the only thing regarding a score was when CA won the gym award and the announcer said that CA's top 5 teams had an average of 95.5. There were not any individual scores given for any teams. So i have to figure some of the negative writers on here are from Cheerforce otherwise how would you know they got a 98.5.
We only get to see CF a few times a year and CA a bit more. They always do so well and our entire gym enjoys watching them both!!! We are so incredibly blessed to have a wonderful working relationship with both gyms and are so pleased that all of our parents even get along!!! So even though the two gyms go head to head quite often, we wish them both the BEST this season! We are working hard to step up to the standard that has been set for us all by these two wonderful gyms! Keep up the good work!
