I just wanted to wish all of you the best of luck in this Saturday's "Amazing Race". I know all of you will do very well in your quest for second place.
As myself along with my team; Nikki "Half Giant, Half Amazing" Pierce, Jeremy "All Talk, All Action" Britt, Derick "Ready to get Ghetto" Patterson and Morton "Will stay in the car with my Latte" Bergue (teamed with driver Judy "Foot on the Floor" Dekalb) already have first place locked up, I figured second would be the place all of you would aspire to acheive.
So best of luck Seniors! Now would be a good time to prepare yourselves for the mayhem that will ensue as my team celebrates wildly while being handed the first place trophy.

Nelson, sounds like an awesome idea! Have lots of fun and someone PLEASE beat him! I have $1 to the team that beats him, better yet you get the title of "Champion.........yes I beat Nelson"!
At the first event, "WHEN" (not if) a team beats the "coaches" team it will automatically give the coaches a 5 minute penalty and they will be held back while the rest of you move forward.
Seniors, make sure your hair looks good from behind because that is all Nelson is going to see....that back of everyone's head!!!
I think it is important that all the senior teams have doctors with them. After all, we do have practice the following sunday and during the race the kids will likely spend the day choking on my dust.

those of us drivers ~could~ make an effective Road Block with our cars... IN FRONT... of the coaches' car! Yeah.... We could SURROUND them even! bog them down....Yeah....hee heee....Then our athletes will have to just OUT_RUN the coaches at every stop...which since they are in such awesome shape should not be an issue....hmmmmmm.....think team work here amoungst cars.....we can do!
Nelson....... I can't believe that Alex is letting you get away with all this trash talking.....I'm going to assume that he has some sinister plan of retribution up his sleeve!!!
I don't think the drivers need to bog down Nelson, he's already been "boged" down by his oldness, and I don't know what Derick is even gonna do with himself, I feel for the old man...
Although, I can't even get my mom to tell me who's on my team, I know I will come out on top...

Our secret weapon, Judy "Foot on the Floor" Dekalb has rented the Monster Truck "Grave Digger" for the event. We're not too worried about cars or senior black/maroon kids getting in our way.

Nelson Nelson Nelson.. I do not know how you think your car is going to be so "Pimped out".. I mean, Derick "being a true mac and slowing down so all the ladies can see him riding in the front seat" Patterson.. Morton "lets stop by starbucks and pick up some coffee that will waste 10 minutes" bergue.. will take up to much of your teams time. And i hope Judy "Im too short to reach the foot pedal" Dekalb rented a car because if she was driving your car it would take 5 minutes to start up and would break down half way through the race forcing Jeremy "ALL TALK..i got beat by two scrony guys and lex in an awesome contest" Britt and Nikki "im taller than shaq" would have to get out and push your accord to the finish line.. and by that time Jenny Horn and Rosemary Poling will both already have there license and be on the cheergyms.com college team.. But its ok.. We will let you talk all you want nelson..
Thank you for your concern about my car. As we are using "Grave Digger" tomorrow I'm not worried about my car breaking down.
I must agree though. We will have to drive a tad bit slower so that, as you say, "the ladies can see Derick in the front seat" (we may even have to gas brake dip a few times). As well, we will probably make a few stops at Starbucks or even a Peet's Coffee so that Morton can enjoy a non fat no whip iced double shot vanilla latte.
It really won't matter though. We will be so far ahead of everyone else that we'll probably even have a chance to stop and catch a movie; I hear the Ballad of Ricky Bobby is quite entertaining. I do ask a favor of you though. If you could, please keep a personal journal for the day. I have personally never been in dead last and I am curious to hear how it feels.
