Cheeer Athletics is going to Vegas Nationals in December again this year? im really sad! STAY ON UR COAST WORLD CHAMPiONS!! & supposedly they are bringing more teams too. =[ but luckily American Grand is giving out like 11 bids this year by beat is that they`ll go to Bullets CA NCE POWER and American for sure

Stay on your coast? So that means California teams should not be allowed to go to UCA, Cheersport, or NCA? Give me a break! I think it is great that CA Bullets come out to LV and show the West Coast what cheerleading should be! Get ready California, as more and more teams will start coming out to the Worlds Bid competitons on the west coast to get those bids!

And yes, I am from California. Lets step up the pace and become strong contenders!

Why do some people want to see only their local area or regional teams. The whole part about being in all stars is competing against the best around the country. What do you want to claim to be the best against people you know you can beat or just want to stay isolated.

The reason that person said that is cause they know they will be beat. They are scared.

Well, do like everyone else does and drop a level. Obviously your team doesn't belong in their division cause they can't keep up.

Please don't be so ****y, you never know what will happen this year.............. every year the GAP is closing, oh YEAH you know!.... and we as other gyms actually ARE balancing cheer with every day lives and school. Not fake tanning.. ya know.... We do NOT live at the gym..... We actually have home and school lives anD still will give various the teams a run for their money at the end.!!!! That's what it's ALL about......... it's those who learn how to BALANCE it all, ...Life, etc... They are successful in the very end!!

But that is why these CA teams aren't as competitive as the South and East. Cause they fit everything else into their lives. The South and East live, eat and breathe cheer. This is why they win. Ask any Olympian if they fit parties, movies and more into their schedules. But you all already know the answer to that. They don't. They live, eat and breathe their sport. That's how they get to be the best. So until California changes their mentality, they will have an uphill battle. I am NOTTTTTTT saying that it CAN'T BE DONE....... but I am saying that you have to work twice as hard in a fraction of the time. You wanna do that?? Go ahead. Knock yourself out.

(And trust me, tanning doesn't help. It just makes your skin tight, dry and old fast. But the East and South can't go to the beach or pool as much. They have too many bugs and humidity. So THATS why they tan so often. It's really the only way.)

People in California need to change their mentality towards activities anyway. Especially in Northern California. They think if their kids get straight A's thats going to make them better people. Studies and research show that kids need to be well rounded. Being in a activity, especially one like cheerleading shows dedication and commitment. It's easy to give your all to the sport and do what people think is "necessary". It's funny because I have been to other states and they do the same things as we do, cell phones, movies, beach, vacations and hang out with friends. It's that their school and activites are priorities, none of that mess around time that many people in California like to do. Drives me crazy about people in California. People in the south and east are just as smart as we are.

I'm a little confused by the previous post. I did not see anything written about people being from California being smarter then anyone else.

As far as activities go I believe there are several states that would have a long trip to the beach so they are not all doing the same activities. Have you ever been to Dallas or Denver. No beach for hours and hours. Each family chooses a place to live based on their wants and needs. There is nothing wrong in having pride in your home state. As for me....I LOVE CALIFORNIA!!!

I personally can't wait for the teams "out east" to start coming to Vegas and California to earn their Worlds bids. There are some programs here that are getting too big for their britches, including some that couldn't get a Worlds bid over only California teams. I think it will make the field at Worlds better - the top teams will truly get the bids instead of just the teams that happened to show up.

It will be very interesting to see how many California teams make it to Worlds once teams from the south, east and mid-west start coming out here for bids. The claim is that California teams can only get bids from competitions out here in the west. I for one would like to see that claim challenged, because I don't think I agree with it. We'll see soon enough -- let the games begin!!

Yes Power is taking some teams and Cheergyms is too. It should be lots of fun. Are there any other west coast teams going to Cheersport. Cannot wait to see what everyone is doing this year. It should be great !

That's a GREAT question..... let me get back to ya on that one. I haven't seen them practice in a while and we did some team rearranging. I will find out for ya. U can see them on the website though. We update the website at LEAST twice a week. Maybe not the pictures that often but the sites themselves are.
