CA seems to be all about having 20+ boys throwing crazy tumbling passes- Not to say the girls are no good but you dont really notice them in the routine- No disrespect to the girls but that's just how it seems with so many boys on your team. I think if CA goes sm coed it will give the girls a chance to shine- I think CF girls are better than CA because they carry their team with less talented boys than CA. No disrespect to any member on Ca or Cf- The girls at CF will be more polished due to being older and more experianced from last year so the routine will be very clean. Good luck to both teams- It should be great to see-

I'm a boy from CF. I think it would be a toss up between the two of us. I think that whoever hit their routine better that day would win. I don't think it's going to come down to who has the most skill when you are talking about two teams with a lot of skill. I think it all comes down to who the judges think put more energy in it and who overall was cleaner etc. It could go either way. Yes, I love our girls on our team. They do just as much if not more then the guys. Good luck to CA. If you guys end up competiting a small coed level 5 teams I will personally be looking forward to competing against you guys. It will be a fun challenge.

Alright, here it is....Lg Coeds have more guys and of course they are used more in the routine. Nothing's wrong with it and of course the boys are going to be a large factor in the routine. It is, after all, Lg Coed. CA is no different their use of males in their routines than any other Lg Coed team in the Nation. However, since CA has several people on all of their teams, it is only natural to think that a Sm Coed is in the mix. Take 4 boys and add them to a grip of girls and CA has another awesome team. Now it is a given that the girls play more of a major role, tumbling, basing and flying on a Sm Coed team because there is more of them. However, if CA has a Small Coed; it will be in addition to their Lg Coed. One thing is sure; the girls from that program can perform and you don't get more polished than they are. I had to go up against a CA Sm Coed team and given the quality of the CA girls, I would be concerned. You can believe this, CA will not put a team on the floor that isn't ready to take it. Tumblers and all. This will be a very interesting year to be sure and I hope this site has the space to hold all of the post that will be coming as soon and people see that Sm Coed compete. But this is a thread about All girl level 5 right so what if they put 4 boys on their Sm Srs and add some of their amazing Sr Lg Open girls or Jr girls and put it on the mat? Who in their right mind would think that CF girls could be more polished and clean? Be honest... nobody.

Are you talking about Cheer Athletics? They had a small coed team last year. Not that great, but it wasn't an actuall team. They just put it together for worlds or something like that. If you are talking about them then let me help you here a little k? We are talking about Cali all stars. We all know Cheer Athletics can put together amazing teams, but don't underestimate CF or Cali All Stars. It's amazing what a team can do over the summer.

I don't know. I personally think CF can take CA. It will be hard, but I personally like CF choreography a lot more then CA. I also believe CF has more difficulty.

It wouldn't necessary be the girls on Cali coed. The girl that crashed last year at worlds was a departing senior. Besides, none of the girls every crashed at all last year except for her at worlds so I question your statement. Now a few guys did...
but... anyway, I've got to give it to CA. You'd be hard pressed to put a team up against them in a Small Coed division. Given that they take the girls from the Small Srs and not the ones from Coed, (at least not last yrs coed). No offense but on a Sm Coed the girls have got to be off the chain and CA's Sm Seniors are all that just add some guys to it and whalla, you've got a amazing Small Coed team. I wonder if that isn't the plan. Hmmm

And CF doesnt have some girls that are off the chain ??? Are you kidding me- First of all they have the best tumbler in cheer of any team in the United States. The CF Girls overall have improved in every area- So to say they are not clean is crazy(3rd at Worlds- They must be pretty clean) Ca girls are good but wouldnt beat CF-

Lg coeds (boys) are fun to watch but as far as what they are "known" for; it was their all girl squad that does it for me. To get that talent in 20+ girls is unreal. Do the judges look at what a program is "known for" or what is put on the floor? Anyone watching them cannot deny that they don't bring it. I must agree that if California Allstars put some boys with those girls they may have the perfect match of talent to go into the Sm coed division and do some major damage. It would be tough but I think that California Allstars has proven over the years that they have the right stuff in terms of coaching, chorg. and skills that can/will make a big impact in that division. As far as a CF/CA meeting, I tend toward CA. They would have the full package, in my opinion. The State of California would have 2 great teams in that division along with the Sm srs and Lg sr divisions. Now if they can just get some more Lg coeds out there. I would like to see CA's lg coed push a little bit. It would make those trophies mean a little more.
