It did turn negative, and for no reason at all except a few misunderstanding what was being said. Does that happen often on this message board? (a little joke there, of course it does)
I'm so glad to see that both competitions will be well represented! It's too bad we have to choose one over the other, but at least either one should be great!
To ????, I was not directing my post at anyone. I was just wondering, if teams are waiting to see who is going, do you choose where MOST teams will be, or where certain teams you think are tough and would like to beat will be. That is why I stated quality vs. quantity at the end of my post. I was quite surprised and disappointed to see that it was misinterpreted as a negative insult directed at cheerforce. I would just ask you read the post again (and the post prior that it was responding to). I meant no harm by it.
To answer my own question, it's a tough choice. If you have a lot of really good teams going to one, but a few of the top teams (like Cheer Athletics for instance) going to another, would you want to see how you stack against a top team like them, or how you do against a lot of teams who are good but maybe not the very best. Ultimately I think our gym will decide based on other things (location, cost) because either competition is going to be awesome to go to.
We didn't plan our competitions around others. We planned them around US and what our parents wanted when we did our year end survey. We don't care who's there or not. We care about whether our families are happy or not and if our kids do well.

So this question isn't meant in ANY sort of negative way.
However, i since Motions i believe is also going to CHEERSPORT how how will this work if both teams recieve a bid. (weather it be at cheersport or another competition.) Because correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the All American Team made up of the athletes from the gyms in the orginization? (( And i do know that their there own gyms, && yadda yadda.)) But since there's NO CROSSOVERS whatsoever, do you know how you'll decide which team goes && which doesn't if both are luckyt enough to recive a bid?
Just thought i'd ask, cause i'm just curisous to see how you would handle such a hard decision.
If both teams receive a bid they will have to decide which will attend. The team members were aware of this possibility last year but crossovers were allowed and that decision wasn't necessary. Last year the decision was going to be left to the athletes.
I think that's a very good question. I mean how do you choose between two teams, (if both recived bids, then both are extrodinarily talented.) and tell one team and group of kids that all was kinda for nothing, cause you decided to take another team.
Like, would you base it on which team got theirs first, which got a higher score, or something like which team would do better...
But i guess it's just one of things that's "an obstacle in the future" that might not even come. (not to say that your teams won't recive bids) But why worry and stress about it if you don't have to right?
Power's website does not list a Small All Girl Level 5 team? Will this be a crossover team like last year? Or will one of the Level 4 teams listed work their way to Level 5?
POWER has crossover from Small to Large Senior 5. John ( the owner) loves the Small Senior diviison. Now the next obvious question would be what if both teams get bids. I am pretty sure that the large team will go because it will allow more kids to have the experience.
YES they do wrote: POWER has crossover from Small to Large Senior 5. John ( the owner) loves the Small Senior diviison. Now the next obvious question would be what if both teams get bids. I am pretty sure that the large team will go because it will allow more kids to have the experience.
How many of the competition companies this year are going to limit crossovers to match the USASF Worlds guidelines? Just wondering if this will be an issue throughout the season or just at Worlds.
