Again people need to learn how to apply make up and pick accessories that look good. Its like anything, there are those that like to blend in and wear average clothes and those who stand out. People can talk all they want, but when you see teams such as Top Gun walk on stage they look amazing. Why, because before they even start, they caught my attention. Now other teams have to WORK to catch attention, so yes it does matter. You think it doesn't but it does.
i liked AA`s uniforms cuz it was a big change for the whole cheergyms style with the crop tops..but i HATE how they mix navy blue with black... it doesn`t go it just looks mitchmatch but the skirts and tops style were cute though.
Hey , didn't anyone but myself think that the Cheer Diva's uniforms were really nice and different last year? I know that my daughter was stopped and complemented at many comps last year on the look. Just another opinion , getting old seeing the same teams talked about over and over. And BTW thin doesn't equate in any stretch of the imagination " fit"
Don't mean to be negative at all, just stating my opinion. But I don't care for their new uniforms (Cheer Divas), I like the old ones much better! But I will give them this, they certainly stand out. Maybe that's the point.
i agreee. i really didnt like the new Divas unifoms. a lot of them were extremly loose on the girls and they just didnt look good. old uniforms a lot better.
Only one organization has the Star Trek type uniforms, so there are plenty other styles out here in Northern CA. One uniform style I remember seeing that I liked was from the Roseville All Stars teams, the colors seemed to change when they moved their arms a certain way (maybe from white to red, or something like that, I can't remember). But it gave a nice illusion. Nothing gawdy or militant looking, just simple with a very nice touch. If I recall they have a big star (or maybe a couple) that stand out.
how can a uniform be disgusting? I think disgusting is having the crop tops on girls that are way too tight, the girls with bigger mid sections or larger busts. However too each his own

Loose? Are we talking about the uniforms that are in the pictures on their website? Because they don't look loose at all!

That is a bit harsh don't you think? Just saying that you did not like them would have been fine. I just looked at their web page and their uniforms were not horrible. I must admit that I too liked their old uniforms. I have not seen the Divas to many times but I must say they do have some of the cutest Tiny/Mini cheerleaders! Good Luck this year Divas and don't worry about the "haters".... at least they know your name.
What do you mean, don't worry about the haters? Someone comments on another organization's uniforms (remember that someone from Cheer Divas posted asking specifically if we liked their new uniforms), and if you give a negative response, you're a hater. Talk about being a bit harsh???
I prefer their old uniforms as well. Personally I wouldn't say the new ones are gawdy. Loud maybe. I just remember seeing them for the first time (in person, not on a website) and I thought it was too bad they changed them, and wondered why they went with a style like that. But to each his own, and as long as they're happy with them, that's all that matters. But since they asked..
True, you don't want dull and boring. But you also don't want to look like circus performers. Somewhere in-between is perfect, where your uniforms liven up your performance without distracting from it.
Haters are the people on here who just like to talk bad about another teams. Not a big deal. It goes out to all the teams who always gets talked about on here in a non-constructive kind of way. Even if they did ask, you could just say no I dont like it..... end of story.... no drama. My goodness, there are ways of getting your point accross without being mean.
So if I offended anyone by suggesting they were haters... I am sorry. I guess I was being mean too.
I see what you're saying; it's one thing to say you don't like their uniforms, quite another to use insulting adjectives to describe them. Hard to tell if it's someone who's just insensitive, or someone who just wants to put down the gym. After a while you get a feel for who is being sincere, and I just ignore the others.
