I kind of agree with him/her on some things he said. Well actually only one. Don't come on these boards to bash on other teams. But all that other stuff is a little hard to talk about. How are we supposed to talk about what hasn't happened yet?
Talking about accomplishments and possibly, mistakes, is a way to learn. Being ****y about the up-comming season is probably bad luck....but that is up to the individual. I would LOVE to know what team won everything..including worlds. Too bad that was only sarcasm. Our cheer organization watched carefully, learned, and got better. Hopefully we will do the same again this season. Watching teams like ca helps us se what we need to do. I hope some day folks will say that about us!
Life Lessons Vs. Excusses....... now when i started my season last year very first day of practice i had 3 double fulls, we put our head down and got to work..... in trainginig i showed my kids everyday teams that were better then them SOT, GYMTYME, TOP GUN etc. They admired they learned from them and they trained like them...... We then signed up for vegas and bumped both teams up a division to challenge them, they LOST to Cali allstars..... The part about being a coach is when you hear these words come out of your kids mouth " We need to go back and train harder" not oh that wasnt our real division or we are a small coed blah blah blah no they looked up to cali allstars like all the other teams they watched and said if we wanna be that good we must train...... then after Gssa when they lost to Power they had fire in there eyes they knew it was gonna take some coed stunts and all of a sudden adding triple toe tucks that they hadn't practiced all year....... they put there head down and did it .......We admired the talent of these and other teams and wanted to train like those teams to get there ....... Not make excuses of why we werent there....... I tell my kids whoever trains harder this summer will Win...

YOU are soooo right!! Another coach I know came up with "Excuses" as to why we lost, or why we didn't get first place......"Oh, the judging was biased" or "you should've won first, but the judges were asleep" or "you are sooo good! You should've won first, but the judges don't know good talent unless it smacks them in the face!" or, the "Judges felt sorry for the team and placeed them first" or "The judges liked that little flyer better" or "The judges don't know how to judge" Or, the "Judges don't like me" or...do you get the picture????????????? Our current coach said..."If you want to win and run with the "Big Dogs", then YOU are going to have to work your butts off!" and man, was he right!!! If we lose, we only have our selves to blame.....so Thank You Coach Sean......you are the BEST!
I can see the love. So much love that you don't know how to spell his name. =). I'm not trying to start anything here, just having some fun. And by the way it's shawn.
