no class wrote: Drew, you're weird and stupid (no offense, it's obvious) Charlene, wake up and smell the coffee. I hope you're not too dissappointed again this year. Twisters, get some class. You have singlehandedly managed to invade a very professional message board and lower it to your level. Get some class!!!!!
Haha WOW all I am going to say is 1) Oh if you could only see how that was just a LITTLE hypocritcal... and 2) thanks for deciding my opinions for me, because you know I'm sure you clearly understand all my motives and their extent within cheer, because clearly its impossible to have more than one motive in participating in a sport.. but on a very serious and honest note: I wish you all the best I'm proud of my team and my work ethic and honestly hope you are all happy and it is working out where you are. Although I have my opinions which I tend to keep to myself, I have no grudges against anyone except for when people become bad sports. the end.
Maybe you guys need to work a little more on the NO DRAMA part. We are not talking about a gang (por la vida) or a family fued. Cheer is a sport and you need to stop dimdnishing that for your own benefit. No one cares how good you think you are! Prove it, and we'll see you at NCA (maybe LOL).
okay. here's the deal. im not badmouthing, just telling the truth. the kids who went from twisters to cheerforce gave their lives to twisters, but were definitely "hung out to dry," not fully sure it was intentional... the fact of the matter is, some teams just don't have the all around drive the "top dogs" have. twisters is fun, and they work hard at what they do. but after all the drama and crashes of situations of the past years, you cant try to be one of the best by going onto a message board, talking up a name for yourself, but having nothing to back up the talent you say you have. if EVERYONE at your gym works together as hard as you say you do, it'll show by your performance. but drew, don't go trying to make a point. i have seen you... you're not that amazing... and as far as "your team" goes, twisters is not "your team"... cheer whore
I think any club that declares "no drama" must be full of drama. What is that saying about protesting too much? From what I have read here, drama seems to lead with those twisters!
California Allstars has several members who have joined from other programs. We respect those programs and wish them much success. California Allstars does not support any negative discussions on message boards. Therefore, please do not participate in this type of negative activity.
This kid is new to California Allstars and it's unfortunite that he doesn't/hasn't learned yet that California Allstars don't trash talk like he is doing. Especially about teams that members weren't once a part of. But his comments would be a testiment of either his upbringing or what was acceptable at his old gym. In any case, the good people down at California Allstars have their hands full with this one. For sure.
Some gyms in Norcal have severe consequences to their team members when it is discovered they are participating in inappropriate behavior, such as talking smack about other teams. Does Cali Allstars have this rule? I know one gym that actually removed an athlete from the program due to inappropriate behavior by both the parents and athletes behavior.
Also, some gyms don't even allow their athletes to write on public message boards.
Well good luck. Sometimes just putting your foot down, stating what is acceptable within your gym outright, is the best medicine. Remember that people cannot read your mind nor do they entirely read their "gym policys". In this case maybe a meeting is in order. Our gym has policys and the parents AND kids have to sign each and every one. And even though we know some may not actually read them all, their signature is there for the future should this exact problem arise.
Yes, California Allstars does set standards and expectations for the members of their program. This person is new to CA and will learn what is and is not accepted; on and off the mat. His actions are not reflective, in any way, of the members of California Allstars. Often times when a person leaves a program that he/she may feel wasn't a strong gym; will want to brag about what they are currently doing by putting down the gym that they left. That is not accpetable and he will learn that trash talk is not tolerated at Califonria Allstars. Having pride in your gym is one thing but putting down another's is something else entirely.
i would like to post this final blog just saying im am sorry,
1. sorry to anyone, who i may have offened
2. of course sorry to my new team Califonia Allstars, who are a VERY highly respected team, and i am new to the team and brought, how would i say it? ?bad blood? into there team, i didn't know how i should put it. i am extremely lucky and proud to be a part of this organization, and i don't want to ruin any chance i have with them.
3. sorry to any gym i might have mentioned and brought into this stupid arguement i had no right to be in, everyone has their own opinions where ever you go.
4. to anyone who actually KNOWS me here, im sorry you know that this is not how i act, infact im a laid back kid,
but that what i am i must confess i am still a KID and kids sometimes do not think of consquences of their actions or words, so please disregard all rude and ****y or just wrong things i said that is not me
hope you all have a great season, and good luck to all your teams

We were at POWER a few years ago and I can tell you from experience that POWER people are not allowed to post on any message board. Its in the contract. If John catches anyone posting they get in some serious trouble. It is all about respect for other teams to not get involved. I really appreciated that about POWER. Now we have moved and belong to another all star gym and I don't believe they have a rule like that. I remember people always badmouthing POWER in years past. Its bad enough that other people respond about POWER without full facts. I think by not allowing them to post it limits the drama
