THere were some girls who left Twisters because the Coaches just made empty promises...... THe girls adored thier coaches but were continually disapointed and let down by them. They finished the season then they decided to leave and go to another gym, which has met all their expectations and more. When they saw their old coach at a competition, they tried saying a friendly hello to her, and the coach just stuck her nose in the air and walked away! I mean, how rude is that?! I mean it was very very obvious that the coach didn't want to associate with the girls, not just a misunderstanding. Several adults witness the exchange. Oh well, that's life I suppose. Most people are nice....
personally i think those world champion teams should stay in texas where they will get bids anyways. keep the west coast bids on the west coast!
oh well though.
ctc vegas gets bigger and bigger every year.
last year they had to move it to a bigger arena. its kinda cool though to see it grow, ive been there for the past 4 years and every year it gets bigger.
soon i think american grand is gonna be a lil mini cheersport!
A mini Cheersport? that's way too over exaggerated. But yes, CTC has bene getting bigger and bigger every season.
signing up for worlds? alex is right.
for example, motions knew that california all stars would compete at JAMZ in las vegas... and they already had a bid. all we had to do was beat pyramids and clovis elite thunder, (maybe one other team?) and even if CA won, we knew we'd get the bid for second place. who knows, CA might have even registered to go to JAMZ in case they hadn't won their bid at USA, and be that one AMAZING team at a small competition to get a bid.
yes, I know jamz is very big, but lets talk about how many advanced teams were at jamz compared to the level 1, 2, 3, and 4's that were there also.
be careful what you say- the season hasn't started yet. twisters could be a million times better, you never know.
The conversation was about the American Grand in Vegas and not JAMZ in Vegas. Jamz was not that deep bet American Grand was awesome.
Teams that were there: Cheer Athletics Large and Small All girl ---- both firsts at worlds Cheerforce- 3 at worlds Power Large and Small --- 5 th at worlds in both divisions California Small and Coed - 4th at Worlds and I think 8th Cheer Tyme- Small -- at worlds and awesome Exreme Cheer and Dance- Paid bid to Worlds at NCA American- 10 at worlds West Coast Mavericks- Paid bid to Worlds
There were other teams that were great too. The comp was awesome to watch. It had a very intense Dallas feel to it and it was only December.
Worlds is for the best of the best right? So why should CA stay in texas??? They have all the right to come out here and try to take a bid away from us just like we can go over to teh east coast to try to get a bid. If you are in their division you have to beat them anyways at worlds to get first. Why not just try to beat them in vegas and give them something to worry about.
Hey Bryan- Thanks for the props- The Twisters did have a great year in 2006 and will be better in 2007- I really don't see any teams that can hang with us but good luck to all. Our coaching and talent are at such a high level that we should place in the top 3 at Worlds but we are going for the #1 spot. * No Drama Just Cheer *

sorry but when i saw u guys last year u truly sucked. and there could be no way that u guys could place top 3 unless everyone else fell competley apart!
Hey hahaha- Don't player hate- We probably beat your team last year and your mad but I'm not mad at you because we don't have drama at our gym- You are probably one of the kids or parent that left our gym and are unhappy to be where your at. If you asked our coaches maybe they will let you come back. CLUB CHEER TWISTERS- Looking for that #1 spot (Worlds baby)
Cant find what thread this was in so I am going to repost in here....I just got off the phone with the west coast director from Spirit Sports. They are offering bids in Palm Springs. I am pretty sure he knows what he is talking about.

I'm sorry...who that went to Worlds last year did you beat??
Ok- We didnt go to Worlds last year but we plan on going this year for sure- Everybody that knows our coaches and the kids on our team knows we are probably the most talented team in California- We should easily get a bid to Worlds- Now that we know they are giving bids at Sprit Sport in Palm Springs we just might go and get one. Dont be afraid of us- Just embrace the fact that we are in your face willing to take what's ours- A bid to Worlds-
