Whats even funnier is that cheerforce placed 3rd in thier division at worlds and you people are still all up in their grill. I guess somebody liked thier dance and thought it was creative enough to place higher then any of you !

To From the OC you might want to try making it to worlds BEFORE you start judging peoples dances because they did " FLY "

I am from the bay area and our gym thinks cheerforce is just great. dont worry about what a few say just keep doing what you do . We look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Ahhh, my ears were burning :)

Anyway, yes, Shawn did come up and do our teams' choreography this weekend. He did a phenomenal job and handed us a set of amazing routines packaged just beautifully for our teams. Our kids busted their butts for 3 straight days and we are very pleased with the results. They know they are going to have to work harder than they've ever worked before for the next 2 months. The style works very well for them, and we all had a blast all weekend, in the gym and out.

We're very excited to put these routines on the floor for everyone to see. I know I can't wait for competition season to start!

Just because they placed at worlds doesn't mean they are without criticism. Nobody got a perfect 100. Many teams placed high the years before and ended up towards the bottom the following year. Cheerforce COULD of scored high in most areas other than dance (Hypothetically) to give them that place. I think anyone who attended worlds can voice their opinion because they might be the team who beats you out to get the next bid. Believe me there are PLENTY of amazing programs that didn't attend worlds but still have made their mark in all star cheerleading. The ****iness and attitude from some of the fans, teams and coaches need to stop. Ya your good, but there is always someone who wants your spot.

If World Cup/Top Gun/Cheer Athletics/etc are so awesome, why can't they do their own dance choreography?

Bottom line, good coaches know their limits and seek help to do what is best for their team.

I think most people can agree that the competitive style in Northern California is very homogenous. This is because almost everyone here has the same background - most of us cheered together in high school and all-star, many of us were coached by the same 10 people. The routines in by Northern California teams are starting to all look the same year after year after year. We'd like to break that mold. It's that simple.

And I don't recall anyone saying we are "so awesome". We're just looking forward to being better than ever.

i thought the person who coached cheerforce last year was the guy who is now going to FLorida to coach ELiTE allstars [ the new Miami Elite ] .. so is ther person is choreograhpign cheerforce this year and DiVAS that same person who caoched cheerforces level 5 teams last year?

That joke was made towards coach Shawn. And it was a JOKE and I am positive he took it that way.We thought CF was incredible and I didn't critisize them in any way. No we weren't at Worlds. But you have to actually TRY for a Worlds bid in order to get one, correct? We knew what our limitations were and planned accordingly. Your message to us was uncalled for, BIG TIME. We have NEVER said anything bad about ANY team on ANY message board. Quit being so nasty. That's not how we do things. And from this point on, OC will not respond to any negativity towards anyone one or in response to anyone.

Good luck to CF this season. We always look forward to see you and your families. We probably won't be going to El Toro this season. Last year was a killer, wasn't it? We will miss you guys!!!! But we won't miss sitting all smashed in those stands!!! See you soon!!!!

the head coach of diamonds was/is shawn but the assistant coach was nestor. and he moved back to florida to coach elite cheer and dance allstars.
