World's DVD


I am so upset.. I got my World's DVDs yesterday and they totally messed it up. I ordered 3 DVDs and only recieved 2. One was the wrong one and the other (the Coed Finals) has other teams cheer music playing during the first part of the DVD so you hear the team that's on the floor plus another team. When I called to complain, I was told I had to ship everything back with a note and then they would fix it. Did anyone else have the same problem with their Coed Finals DVD?

I called yesterday it took like 15 minutes to talk to someone and she just said mine had not been shipped yet. Gosh I hope I get mine soon I ordered the co-ed finals only. I am worried now cause yours is messed up. I will let you know when I receive mine. This reminds me of the 14week wait for the NCA allstar nationals DVD.

We also have nightmare-ish stories regarding DVD's we've waited weeks and months for, only to be disappointed in the final product. Let's face it folks, they know they have your business regardless of the quality of the products and the customer service, because they leave you NO choice if you want any videotape at all of your son or daughter (and of course most of you do). It costs them money to hire more people to deliver the product in a reasonable time-frame, and it costs them money to hire competent people who will do quality checks on the final outcome to make sure there are no errors. It's cheaper for them to send out inferior products and wait to see who takes the time, money, and effort to send them back if they are not satisfied.

I hope your problems are resolved. If not, please take the time to contact the competition company (would it be USASF in this case)? and let them know so that they can choose someone more competent at the next event.

The phone number provided was actually to NCA and they said they would contact the video company once I returned my products. They did say they would credit back my shipping fees but that's little reconciliation for the frustration involved.

this is why you have to bootleg a copy at the comp.. my video from the comp came out really good..these companies who do a real poor job on the videos have no reason to complain when we do this. If they did their jobs correctly we wouldn't have to cheat.. their loss and my gain..ha ha

I'm sure as "good" as your copy is, its not good as a company who has several cameras around the venue. I have seen the "best" from parents and friends and its always at their preferred angle, no graphics or labels, and just a glorified home movie. Now its great you have a copy but don't pass it off as good as professional.

I always videotape on my own (I'll never again put my trust in these companies). If I decide to order it I wait until AFTER everyone receives their DVD's to see if they are happy with the quality (and to see if they feel it's worth what they paid); I'll order it (if the cost is reasonable) because as the last post said, the quality is professional; they have expensive cameras and a better angle since they're allowed to be right up front. My footage usually looks washed out because of the bright lights.

But at least I have mine if all else fails, and I've had the enjoyment of viewing it over and over again long before anyone else who waited months.

Cuz, I just received another DVD of coed finals. It wasn't in a case or anything and it is defective just like the first one I received. What a bummer!!!

when the recorded voice comes on, press 7, and tell the woman that answers the phone that your DVD is messed up. she'll send a new one! you can also ask if your video has been shipped out!

Just spoke with the USASF and they said all Coed Finals DVDs were defective and the vendor will be resending new DVDs to all those that purchased the Coed Finals DVD. We should receive them by the end of next week.

So you have to wonder if they are all defective, why wouldn't someone check them out BEFORE sending them? I mean, all it takes is one person to stick one in a DVD player, right?? Boggles the mind.

not all of the coed dvds are bad. like 10+ people at my gym got theirs and they work perfectly. im just hoping mine come in today :'(

I was told they were printing out all invoices for Coed and resending. I think that is easier and quicker for them to manage than to figure out who got bads ones and who didn't. Be lucky yours was okay.

I received my co-ed finals DVD a few days ago . I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but it seems okay. My cheerleader has it so I'm sure I'll hear if anything is wrong. Good luck to all who had problems with their DVDs. I know how incredibly fustrating it can be.

i just got my worlds dvd yesturday!!!! mine is one were music is playing over other routines. but i think im going to keep it since it only does it for like 5 teams then its good :)

Well my son informed me that the music is messed up on some of the routines. He called they said they are shipping out new ones to everyone. He said what another 8 weeks. They said it should be here next week. Let's hope so.

If just one person over there would have played the DVD in it's entirety, the error would have been caught. Just like the problem with the other DVD's mentioned (differnet competitions) where things were missing. It just seems like such a simple thing to do.

Hey yall, We got the replacement DVD today!. I watched the whole thing and they fixed the music problem.
