It's my life away from home. I don't enjoy anything more then going to my gym working my butt off and getting better doing something that i love. It's fun and i love the feeling of competing and it's always nice going to different places and meeting new people.
the people i know in cheerleading are my second family. I love coming to the gym and tumbling with them, going to competitions, and hanging out outside of the gym. It also is a great way to stay healty, in shape, and competitive.
It's what I'm best at. Something I love, something I'm dedicated to, something I'm passionate about.. Something that I'm best at.. Without it, I dont know what I would do.
I dont think anybody understands how much cheerleading means to me...
i cheer beacuse it makes me feel good. i love being with my 2nd family. my gym is my 2nd home. i love my teamates, moms and most of all coaches. i love performing in front of a ton of ppl and taking home that 1st place trophe. i love getting 2nd knowing you performed a 1st palce performance and not being mad about getting 2nd. i love walking off the floor smiling so big or crying because you just performed flawless. i love getting new stunts and tumbling. pretty much i love cheer beacause its amazing :) :)
No, it's not a bad thing so long as he doesn't allow it to make him "snobbish" or "think he's better than everyone else". I've met him and so far I think he's ok. But then again, he totally ignored me, so I can't tell. Do you think he's obssessed???? hehehehehehe
i loved to cheer and pray each night that i can go back in the next couple of years i loved cheerleading because when i was doing my routine i wasnt worring about school friends etc.. i was just thinking about wat i was doing it took alot of the stress off of me!!! pyramids was my 2nd home due to my interesting schoulder injures i have to quit this year i cant tell you how mad i am that i cant tumble stunt etc. i would have to say that cheerleading isnt a sport it is seriosly a life style and i loved cheerleading i will keep praying so i can be back soon but even if i cant i still luv all ya guys!!!
Haha yeah i think he's obsessed. But I'm on a team with him so I'm used to it I guess. He knows he's good, but he doesn't use it against other people or think that he can be lazy while everyone works. He's still one of the hardest workers and is always working on something new.
Believe it or not Bryan, there are those of us who do understand. We are at the gym all the time and it's what we center our lives around. I am obsessed myself. I cheer on two teams, coach three teams and stretch while doing homework and watching tv. I leave school IMMEDIATLY and am at the gym by 3:30 till 9:30 pm. EVERYDAY except the weekends when i am there doing whatever I can. I did take 3 days off to visit family two weeks ago and it was TORTURE. I love cheer more than anything in the world. Even inanimate object in my dreams can tumble!!!!! Better than I do even!
It is my outlet for all sources of stress. Cheerleading, especially for Motions, was a temporary, however, anxiously awaited weekly ritual, that displaced me from the stress and drama of home and school. It gave me a place to take my worries and evolve them into positive energy to put towards a goal.
I cheer for the love. I cheer for the feeling. I cheer to learn virtues of dedication, hard work, and inspiration. I cheer to live.

for this question, i really dont think anyone could understand it unless they have experienced it. the thrill competing brings is unlike any other. its amazing and i wouldnt trade it for anything.... accept one thing, my high school team. I have a very tight knit and loving squad. we all work well and have been cheering together for a while now. i love them to death and best of all they are my best friends and they are at school with me. and there is nothing better than watching our amazing football team win game after game... literally
