If you could manage the time and were able to afford it, would you be interested in cheering for All Stars in addition to your High School Team? [97 vote(s)]
I think you hit it right on the nail. If it was possible to get kids to do allstars and high school with it not interferring we would be estatic. I know at our high school we have several who do both which is great for our program to get those kinds of kids as I think gyms program directors would agree they like getting high school cheerleaders for different reasons. Unfortunatly the issue our coaches and school admin has with kids doing both is the interfering part. This year cheergyms has a team called allstar lite that is not suppose to interfere because they are working with the high schools, I can honestly say that is awesome more power to you but no one is working with our program maybe you mean to say your working only with team cheergyms teams. If that can be solved the interfering part, and the allstars and their coaches not bad mouthing the high school teams, I believe high school coaches would more then support the kids doing both I know we would with open arms. So if that part can be solved and allstar lite will not interfere great we will support it but it will be interesting to see how this pans out this year...
We are doing it and so far it's worked PERFECTLY. No interfering with practices, games and the such. Competitions are thought of WAY in advance and everyone works together.
Hi, I'm an owner of an all-star program and we TRY to work with the high school coaches but they say "we're trying to steal they're girls". NOT EVEN! All we want is to work together because some parents have approached us on doing both but the schedule is conflicting.
