This year at Summer Jam there will actually be a "Parent Team" division.

Pyramids, 720, and Motions, will all have teams competing. If any parents from last years Colony Silver team wanna join in give a call!

Summer Jam is such a fun competition. Why wouldn't anyone want to go!?

I'm sure it's a lot of fun. I think maybe some teams don't go because maybe for them it's too early. Some teams are still ramping up even end of July. And some don't start choreography until August/September. If I had to guess, that might be the reason.

I think for some teams, it's just not a good time of year - they aren't ready yet. And it seems to me that a couple of years ago I heard rumblings about the cost (that it was too high for what the competition entailed). But I don't remember specifically what the cost was then, and don't know whether or not it changed since then, so I don't really have an opinion on that part of it. But those could be some reasons why.

but if you want MY PREDICTIONS:

1. OC all stars parent team
2. POWER's mini team
3. Cheergyms.com college team

Actually I have seen Powers mini team and cheergyms college team and they were both excellent. I know our team never beat Powers minis this year so they are good. We live to far to go there but if we lived close believe me my little one is just starting her first year and we would go there.

So my prediction is they will be good.

we had a great parent team for 05/06. the parents were great
and excellent sports, and totally supported by all. called the "silver team"
unfortunately Colony closed a few weeks ago, so there won`t be anymore.
