What a great showing we are going to have for Cali. Lets put all of our energy in making CALIFORNIA look good. We should all try to cheer each other on even thought some of us are competing against each other. Good Luck to everyone and see you in Sunny Florida!!!!!!
The following teams are NOT listed on the schedule released by USASF. Have to assume they decided not to go, although they received unpaid bids. Or maybe the listing on USASF is wrong as to who received bids. Surprised some of these teams aren't going. Can someone confirm if Georgia Elite, Encore, Kentucky Elite, Stingrays, and Top Gun, and Lonestar actually got bids in the categories listed below?
Small Sr: -Nebraska All Stars -Georgia Elite -New Zealand All Stars
Worlds Watcher, the special performances last year were special needs teams (ie Kentucky Elite Show Cats, etc.). That may be what it is for this year too.
Why would you ask if they are going to be part of cheergyms? Just because they are being supportive and wishing luck to cheergyms does not mean they are going to be part of it. Mavericks have two owners that do a great job with the program.

Pride Coach, thanks for the info. That would be great to see a large attendance of Special Needs performances. I've heard they are great to watch so I'm looking forward to this section of the competition.
I'm pretty sure the special performances are to allow the international teams (and maybe others) that don't make finals an opportunity to perform twice.
Special needs teams aren't performing at Worlds and actually didn't last year either. You can find them at most other competitions, though. I'm Director of the USASF Special Needs committee and we now have more than 70 special needs teams in 25 states and more than 25 gyms currently scheduled to add teams this year (including one of the cheergyms).
For a list of FAQ's, please see www.usasf.net and click on the link about starting a special needs team.
Acedad, thanks for the correction. I must have been confusing UCA nationals with Worlds. Sorry! Too many competitions and they run together a bit! And thanks for the work you do with special needs cheerleading. We are just putting together a special needs team at our gym, and its amazing for sure.
