I disagree. South Bay website is rarely updated and rarely puts any messages sent to them on the message board. Follow up is not a priority at this gym (I know I go there). I do not think we got the bid, we have been hearing rumors it was Arizona Heat Elite, so if anyone knows for sure that would be great because as usual...WE KNOW NOTHING!!!

...and I'm very sorry if you didn't received the bid. Your team having to wait in the dark while rumors are floating everywhere is something I wouldn't want my daughter going through.

Just called Arizona Heat Elite and talked to Autumn, They did take the bid from the American Grand to go to World's. South Bay will not be going, maybe next year they can get their act together!

I think that who ever said they need to get there act together needs to grow up!
I am a parent not from South Bay. I have read all the message board comments through out the last couple of months. I was also at many of the same comptations
that SBE and the Cheergyms attended. My personal feeeling is that its to bad that they did not get a bid. All the love that was that was being passed back and fourth during the super six finals. Our Team was one of the only ones cheering on South Bay. I not sure they felt the same love the rest of the teams felt. Its really sad.

South Bay keep your heads held high and remember that you have beat 3 of the teams that will be at Worlds.

OK, I'm sorry if I sounded harsh when I said they need to get their act together. Let me clarify...1) They have beat teams that are going to World's this year 2) When you want to go to World's you have to plan for it and not just expect it to drop into your lap. 3) If SBE had planned properly when preparing their schedule there is not a question that they would have a bid. 4) If I was a parent there I would be mad, they are SO talented and they are going without because the coach did not plan properly. I am HOPING a lesson has been learned and the situation will be rectified in the future!

Hi, I am on southbay senior coed and no we did not get the bid.

I dont think it is fair for anyone who is not on our team to judge us and say things like "we shouldnt expect a bid to just drop in our lap." I think that is immature and you obviously do not know very much about how things went this year.

We have a million things running through our heads as well about the worlds bid but this simply isnt the place to say it. Leave what you do on the floor and be done with it.

We are lucky that we have a young team so everyone except 3 people will be returning, so we will be ready for next year!

one more thing, yes worlds is wonderful and its taking all star cheer to the next level and its great if you get there and im sure its a great experience but it is NOT the end of the world if you dont go, we are over it and hopefully you dont need to fill your time with saying stuff about our team, find something more productive to do. Thanks!
