Hey guys, I don't think too much concern should be put into the point spread between 1st and second and third place. The judges all saw every team 2 times plus another 5 or 6 times on video tape.
They knew exactly how the teams should be placed if they were clean. I assume many of the judges planned on placeing Power lg in first as long as they were clean. Once they saw that they probably just adjusted their score to make sure that's how it went.
I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
In my personal opinion, Power Lg was the obvious choice for the paid bid. CF Sm was the obvious choice for 2nd place and the Unpaid bid, CF lg and All American was a toss up. It could have gone either way between those 2. SBE and Power Sm belonged in 5th and 6th because of deductions.
A 20 point difference between Power and CF is not an accurate account of how close it was. Simi Valley Cheer Force Diamondz were incredible and maybe the crowd favorite of the entire weekend.

THAT's exactly the problem.
They weren't supposed to take any biases into the Super-6. They were supposed to "throw out the previous scores" and simply judge the Super-6 teams according to how they performed at the Super-6.
Otherwise, why even have a super-6? Just pick who they wanted to win and save everyone the time.
Just because "Points" said "They knew exactly how the teams should be placed if they were clean..." doesn't make it a fact that is what the judges did. "the judges plans" makes it sound as if "Points" was one of the judges. You both are guessing. Unless you are one of the judges, then stop guess what they did, what they thought, and how they judged.
I saw both POWER and Cheer force and maybe its just because I am so use to seeing POWER but during the SUPER 6 performance Cheer Force was just AMAZING. When they walked out you could see magic in there eyes and ya knew it was going to be something SPECIAL. They blew everyone away on that last performance. I was really stunned to hear the results.
To POWER you had another amazing performance SUPER CLEAN.
CONGRATULATIONS TO POWER,CHEERFORCE & ALL AMERICAN
Seriously, how petty are you going to get? The judges stood up for what was obviously an amazing performance. I am sure some parent, fan, or coach was watching them instead of applauding the team that just performed. I just think that people will find ANY mistake or anything they deem will think is "negative" or "bias" to fit their argument. Seriously if your going to point something out, let it be something substantial.

I agree with Anthony. What's done is done. Let's leave it be, wish them all well at world's, after all they will be representing all of us her in norcal.
just the fact that all of the gyms supported each other, with such loud applause and loud chanting, and shouting out each others cheers and gym names. not only by the cheerleaders, but those supportive and tired parents and families of the cheerleaders. and it did not matter what part of the state they were from. pride and support seemed to be the only ''game in town'' at that moment. even the announcer made comment of it, that he and the judging panel had never heard or seen such a display of support and comraderie at any of the competitions that they had ever attended, and that this would be remembered.. i think that of all the teams there, they should all be congratulated for a job well done. and that comments for who won what for where should be met with congratulations, and pats on the back. Ripping people and gyms and judges is so demeaning....if you can do better , then start your own gym.....in the meantime for the rest of us who were there can bask in the wonderful memories of two great days watching our kids perform, without any hangups......
