Youth Advanced 5

How many Youth Advanced Level 5 teams do we have in California? I think OC All Stars has a team.

It just blows my mind that at this young age there are teams doing advanced skills. I haven't seen any yet but it must be amazing.

I noticed quite a few Youth Advanced teams attending Cheer Sports in Atlanta.

Just curious how California stacks up against the other states.

Yeah, we saw OC's youth level 5 team last year at Cheer Power. They were incredible. It truly is amazing to see all these tiny girls doing fulls!

I think last year they were still called Youth (which I think was 4th grade and under)? I remember a Jr. Prep team that had fulls too, incredible. That was last year, but we haven't been to a comp with OC yet, so I don't know what they have this year. Maybe if someone from OC reads this they can fill us in?

Last year the only younger level 5 teams I remember seeing or hearing about LAST year we're Jr Prep teams. Not that many for Cali!. I think Ca allstars, American, Cheer Force, Power, Magic, OC, CA quakes, sorry if I forgot any!!!. They were all incredible at their ages!

yeah, just verified it, OC had an elite youth team (called OC All Star Youth Silver) that competed at level 5 at Cheer Power Nationals last year (just saw it on an old tape we had). Wasn't called Level 5 then, but that's what it was. Mostly tucks and layouts, one full. But awesome just the same, especially for their age! Not sure if they have the same team this year. They also had a Jr. Prep Level 5 team.

From what I know they don't have a Youth Advanced team this year, they will be competing at the intermediate level. Most of the kids from last year's youth team have moved up to their Jr. Prep team...that should be a team to watch!

Hi everyone! I am from OC All Stars.... this is what we have this season.

Mini Level 1 - Mini Blue
Mini Level 3 - Mini Silver
Youth Level 3 - Youth Silver
Junior Prep Level 2 - Junior Blue
Junior Prep Level 5 - Junior Silver
Junior Level 2 - Junior Blue
Junior Level 3 - Junior Yellow
Junior Level 4 - Junior Silver
Senior Level 2 - Senior Blue
Senior Coed Level 4 - Senior Coed
Senior Level 5 - Senior Silver (aka Black, we thought Senior Silver sounded like a vitamin, hahahahaha)

Our Junior Prep Silver team is so incredible this season. They placed first yesterday at Spirit Sports. They are mainly girls from the Youth Silver team last year, plus some more. They are all very very young but very talented. I just want to know what their moms feed them!!!!! Thanks so much for asking! We are only in our 3rd year of existance and growing every day. We have 17 teams total so far with dance included, but are getting more girls every month!

Good luck to all of you this season. It's such a wonderful thing to have such wonderful teams to compete against. We learn so much from all of you!!!!

The Junior Prep Teams are called Junior Prep Blue and Junior Prep Silver....... the teams are named Blue, Yellow and Silver by the level and how many teams they have.
