I do not know who is posting this POWER this, Cheer Force that... but I cheer for POWER and I wish CF good luck. We wish everyone good luck. We work hard, but I'm sure everone else does too. To be honest I am not sure who CheerForce is, but if they are good, I cannot wait to see them at GSSA.

GSSA is going to be great and the team that does the best on that day- should win period. It doesn't matter what anyone did in December. March is when it counts.

Good Luck to ewveryone.

Best of luck to all the teams that go for Worlds Bids. As a cheer fan I just want California to be well represented so that other teams around the country will start talking about our teams on the west coast as they do teams in the east and south.

And I am curious as to how many non-California teams will go to GSSA and USA for a try at a bid. Texas Lone Star has received bids from USA the last two years and they only got "at-large" bid from Jamfest this past weekend. Are they going to USA again?

Does anyone know if any non-California teams going to GSSA?

I've only seen Cheer Force this season as Power doesn't come south all too often. But they are very good. Good luck to Power also this season. You are both very good gyms. May the best team win.

I too was at the grand and think that Powers program is stronger than cheerforce. But that is matter of opinion. I think that cheerforce has strong combo passes but they all need to be cleaned up. They also have 9-11 year olds as there top girls on there senior teams so that helps with being able to do more in there routine...but to me it is not polished it is just chucked. When it comes to dance Power's dance are more visual to me and alot cleaner and cheerforce was all over the place.

I have the cheerforce routine on a pirated dvd from the grand and think that Powers small seniors are alot more entertaining and cleaner......goodluck to everyone!

Are you serious?? POWER is very good, don't get me wrong but techically Cheer Force has super strong teams. VERY creative on stunts and other elements. They have ex Top gun and Miami elite coaches so u know they will bring it to the mat. Cheer Force has beat some amazing programs, so I guess you will have to see them again to really understand how good they are.

Texas lonestar has only come to USA once. I heard they got a really high score at ACA, so its possible they will go to Cheersport or USA. I think USA will stay small due to the fact that American Championships and other organizations are coming to the west coast and finally putting on some good competitions. USA will get the occassional powerhouse programs, but nothing consistent like NCA or Cheersport.

Just an opinion but I don't like USA competitions. Not too sure really why but I have never been to one that I actually enjoyed. And the judging baffles most. But hey, only an opinion here. I could be way off. Good thing our new gym doesn't go to them. I don't have to go anymore.

I am aware of the new coaches from Top Gun and Miami Elite for cheerforce and I am still not impressed, if you are implying that they are just as good as those above mentioned teams due to the new coaches then I really have to dissagree. I think it takes time to be coached well by someone and yes maybe they will have the "miami" look in the future, but I still think they are messy.

In my opinion Power is cleaner and they also have outstanding coaching.

I disagree

You cant be serious about calling Cheer Force messy . Did you fail to notice that between the two days that power had

1- ten touch downs

2- 1 fall

3- and 1 fall out of a cradle

And with all that I still think POWER is a strong program but to call Cheer Force messy is not true they are VERY GOOD as is POWER.

I also do not believe anyone implied that they were as good as Top gun or Miami Elite. They only said, " They will bring it to the mat."

Cheer Force already had outstanding coaching before the new additions and they have had the" Miami look" for 2 years now. In my opinion they are just as clean as power and I LOVE POWER.

To be honest, being messy is a matter of opinion. Cheer Force did very well overall at the American Grand. They turned heads and really took notice last month. I think that POWER is very competitive, but Cheer Force is just amazing to watch. I didn't enjoy their Vegas theme for their small coed, but other than that, they are very very strong. I guess its a matter of opinion, but I think that Cheer force will do better nationally. California judges tend to pick the West coast style teams, but that style doesn't always do well nationally.

When it said CF was goin ... it meants goin UP.... You ca't fix your post when you hit enter. I seriously hope CF goes against Power cause this would solve the controversy. And it would be oh so fun to watch.

PS Cheer Force is from So Cal. One reader didn't know. They are NOT University. no, no, no, (chuckling to herself)

Hey Coach Shawn: Please tell your parents that other teams appreciate them. They are so kind and thoughtful. Especially at that horrible competition at El Toro. We were all CRAMMED in there but ended up laughing and having a good time even though it took almost 11 hours!!!

Is it true that if you get an "At Large Bid" you have to compete in the prelims, but if you get "A Paid Bid" you don't have to compete in the prelims at all, you simply go straight to finals-?? I read this on the ProX webpage. That doesn't seem quite fair. Some of the paid bids and at large bids are only a difference of .005 points why would they make such a rule-?? I think somebody might have been mistake in their understanding of this rule. Can someone out there that might be more knowledgeable answer this for those of us that are curious-??

That is correct, at large bids go to prelims and partial and paid bids go directly into finals. And as far as "West Coast Style" goes; in all of the MAJOR nationals, a "West Coast Style" team either won and/or came in top three. So yes, they do well nationally also.

YEAH BUT

Can you name some winners and not runner ups from the major ones.

1. NCA

2. CHEERSPORT

3.AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS ( this one has gotten pretty big lately )

I do not consider uca or usa a MAJOR competition company at least not any more.

COA , AB , AND JAMFEST are good competitions but are not your MAJOR nationals

Remember some of these companys are bigger on the east coast.

Any team taking top 3 at a NCA National is beyond simply good!! There hasn't been a West Coast team that has won at NCA but they have come in 2nd and 3rd in some major advanced divisions. I would consider UCA a major National also. And yes West Coast teams have won there. Also, at COA and at American Grand. What exactly is your point? Granted they haven't been from Northern California, but yes the State of California is more than well represented at the Major Nationals and doing it with the "West Coast Style".
