USASF Worlds

Hey, if you don't think teams across the country will go the "distance" to try for a bid to the USASF Worlds check out American Grand Championships schedule. There are teams from Texas (Cheer Athletics), Georgia, Kansas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Arizona, New Jersey, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and oh yes, some even from California. And this is in Las Vegas and at the beginning of the season! Let's see how many of these teams come to the California competitions that are giving out bids.

I think that some teams will travel where ever they need to to get that bid... its going to be HARDCORE cheer at those comps. let me tell you, I wouldn't mind going just to watch and to see some of the teams that you normally wouldnt get to see...

but OF COURSE... i give ALL MY luck to CA teams, (not that i dont like other teams) i just would love for us to be represented more out at WORLDS...

Looks like out of the 29 teams competing for a bid only 11 are from CA. Out of those 11 teams from CA only 1 is from NorCal, and that is Airborne. I don't see SBE on the list but I thought they were going.

I would love to go too, just to see those teams we would never get an opportunity to see.

Good luck Airborne and all the other CA teams!

There are many Cali teams missing off of that list for vegas right now....west coast mavericks normally always attends and they are not on the list yet. Also, already know that we can bank on seeing SBE and POWER there too. All of those breaks in the schedule online will more than likely fill up due to late registration. Goodluck to Everyone in Tinsle Town!

Its nice to know that more Cali teams will be there than what is currently listed.

I also heard that some teams that normally go aren't because of injuries.

It's hard to image that the Worlds bids would "scare" people off. I think it would be a great opportunity to test out their routines early in the season and make any changes and try again.

The first bid to Worlds will actually be given out Dec 10-11 in New Jersey at WSF East Coast Challenge in New Jersey. No schedule up yet. It will be interesting to see how many teams from out of the area go.
