HELP SAVE HPU CHEER PROGRAM!! SHIRTS FOR SALE! SIGN THE PETITION!

I am a cheerleader at Hawaii Pacific University! We just got home from NCA Nationals, were our small coed team won their 6th title, and our large coed team won their 10th consecutive title! A few days ago we get an email from our coach explaining that we have a mandatory meeting the next morning (yesterday). We get to the meeting not sure what to expect only to find out that our school is cutting the competitive aspect of the cheer and dance programs so this next year we will only be allowed to cheer games. They told us the reason why they are cutting it was because of budget cuts, even though we fundraise ourselves to pay for Nationals. The school pays for some, but the bulk of it we pay by fundraising. We told them that we would like to just fundraise the full amount if it is a money problem and they told us that it was not an option. We have gotten the community involved and are trying to fight it so that the school will reconsider their decision. So far the amount of support we have gotten has been amazing! I believe we already have around 3,000 signatures on our petition just within about 36 hours! It would mean the world to me and my Ohana if you could take a few minutes to sign this petition. Also, you can write a letter and send it to ahutch_9@yahoo.com explaining your support for our program and how devastating it would be to see it go away. We have gone through so much to ensure the continuance of this legacy and I refuse to let this program die this quickly. Please help us out!!! Much mahalo! One love, Ohana forever!!!

 

Along with that, we are selling shirts to help raise money in our fight to keep the legacy alive! I have attached a picture of the shirt and info to pay by PayPal will be posted once I get the information! The shirts are only $15! IT MAY BE THE LAST HPU CHEERLEADING SHIRT AVAILABLE  FOR PURCHASE (let's hope it's not though!!) ORDERS DUE BY MONDAY! 

Thank you so much for your support, I dont think the administration at HPU realizes what they have started. The cheer family around the world is so powerful and we can help to save the program so that cheerleaders that have dreamed about cheering at HPU will be given the chance!

It is quite difficult to find good work out gear on a budget. I had my eyes on designer sports bras and beyond yoga leggings and when there was a sale offer, I immediately placed the order. This gear was of super good quality and it was a hit for me from all aspects.
