WOW!!! Let me tell you, one stressful week ended up all right. All of the Pyramids teams looked awesome and now it can only get better. I think every team and their coach knows what needs to get done to step up the routine a little bit more and go to AB with an even better performance.
To my Jr. Preps~ What can I say? I always stress out about you guys, and have more nerves than all of you combined but you always come through. I wasn't sure what was going to happen since no one got to warm up any tumbling. (I will know better next time :) ) But the performance was not bad, not bad at all. No stunts fell, you had great facials, and the motions weren't bad either. I think you all know what we need to work on, and let's work even harder on our "secret elites" so that we can try and compete them either this next competition or in December. I am so proud of all of you!! Get ready for Thursday because it is going to be a great practice! I can feel it already.
Mini's~ I wish I got the chance to see you but everybody said you all did awesome. And I'm sure it looked great! Audrey you have done a wonderful job with them.
Jr. Black~ Great job girls! I hadn't really seen your routine and it was so fun to watch. I know Laura was proud of you and a 2nd place finish is awesome for your first time out!
Jr. Red~ I have to be honest I was a little nervous for you guys, but just like Jr. Preps I had a feeling you were going to pull it off. The routine looked great and you all started the season out with a first place. Congrats!
Sr. Red~ I didn't get to see you girls either but everyone said that the routine was amazing. I don't doubt it because Regina is the god of clean and great routines. I wish I could have seen the dance because that is the best part!
Sr. Gold~ I am so proud of all of you! When I went to warm up with you guys I had full confidence that you were going to step on the floor and hit your routine almost perfectly. Little bobbles but almost perfect. You proved to Jeff that he can step the skills up for the next competition.
Sr. Black~ I love all of you guys! I think I was more nervous than Billy and Derick right before you stepped on the floor. You guys did great, but I think all of you know where to step it up now, and you guys are going to hit that routine solid next time. Remember... GEORGIA!
Oh and did I forget to mention that thanks to all of the great performances Pyramids won $3500 for being the gym with the top scores. How amazing is that? Great job to all of the cheergyms.com teams and to Pyramids for an incredible start. I can't wait to see what is in store for the rest of the year!
Angie - Extreme choreographer! Look out! You do amazing things with those little ones you should be so proud, I know all of the staff is! I was only sad I missed it but I'm waiting for the secret weapon performance to show up
I heard all the teams that I didn't get to see were amazing, as much stress as we went through last week was all worth, here we go for stress round #2 - AB.
Jr Red - Don't know what to say, you guys pulled off a miracle - but then again Marlon and I knew you could - I'm glad you found it in you. Now we get revamp, clean, and do it all again in 3 practices - GOOD TIMES!!!
A very special thank you to Nicole, Christina M. and Kelly for helping lead Jrs to there potential, your speeches and support do not go unnoticed, your just the baby's on the Senior team but here you were the leaders - thank you for all your hard work!
Sr Red - You not only hit that routine, you made it look easy. When you ladies take the floor - YOU TAKE IT! You should be so proud I know I am. I can't wait to do it all over again at a BIG competition - AB's going to be great!
